After being very disappointed with my experience at meet fresh, this place came into mind. The last time I had some really good shaved ice was as a kid on guppy house. Got worried after seeing recent reviews that the shaved ice wasn't the same. Safe to say it's just how I remembered and it's great. Service was good. People who say her service is bad are not familiar with Asian customer service. Yes, they do not allow outside food and drinks. A majority of food establishments have the same rule for a reason.

We are returning customers. I grow up in Taiwan. The food here is very authentic Taiwanese noodles and rice. Taste is what we miss. There used to be two guppy house before. This is only one left. We are 30 minutes away. It’s a treat and comfort food when we come back.

I visit this location every so often for some boba tea and rice. They have a variety of great flavors, and the customer service is WONDERFUL!! The lady working here is always so friendly, bringing the drink directly to me in the waiting area. I do not understand the negative reviews, and hope she does not pay them any mind, because they are so silly.

First time customers. We wanted to like it, but it was less than mediocre. Understaffed (woman up front and I assume someone cooking in the back), so we were being patient that it took so long to get our order. All food comes in to go containers... one small styrofoam container of rice, and then a 3 section container with the rest of the dishes (separating the veggies from the main dish). No way to assemble it and eat it together. Orange chicken had no flavor (no idea how that's even possible). Broccoli beef was ok. Friend got a noodle soup, but again ingredients came separately packaged (even for dine in). He was concerned that he might get sick, said it was pretty bad. Woman employee seemed to be on a personal call for a while and didn't notice me when I was trying to ask where the restroom was. Not clean, and signs throughout the establishment ("bus your own table", "sit here but no food", "no outside food or drink" and that includes your own reusable cup of water even though they don't serve cups of water), etc.

Used to love coming here. We were excited to eat here again! Not coming back. We were the only people here and the older lady working seemed annoyed that we came in. We ordered almost $100 of food and she still charges us $1 each for bottled water. They don't offer cups of water but you can bring your own cups. So I went to my car and brought a cup from another boba place and she comes up to tell us no outside drinks. We are the only people in here. The shaved ice looked pathetic. The brick toast tastes good but is 1/3 the size it used to be. I know shrinkflation but cmon. Very unfortunate cause the food is overall decent. She had a glimmer of kindness as we left but too little too late. Had she shown that kindness in the beginning, our whole experience would have been much better. I try to support small local businesses when I can but this experience is enough for me to never come back.

WOW! I havent been to guppy house in years! the food though taste a little different, still has the nice guppy house vibe! The vibe of the place was made a lot more vibrant by the music and the service. I really appreciate his service and the vibe that he created in the restaurant. My boba was also very delicious!

Authentic, DELICIOUS, Taiwanese cuisine with fresh ingredients. We come every week for a family meal and a wide variety of drinks. Their popcorn chicken, seafood fried rice, broccoli beef, shaved ice, and boba tea drinks appear to be very popular here as we see lots of people order them. The restaurant is always clean and it appears they have maintained the use of disposable bowls and utensils for cleanliness. The restaurant itself has great atmosphere for a date night, study group, get together with family and friends, or eating out alone. Their food, drinks, and service are worth every penny. I highly recommend it.

After training, they left soon after. This problem is not unique to them. I heard that many restaurants now encounter the same problem.

10/10. the little server boy was so kind hearted. the rave music playing created the perfect ambiance to enjoy my delectable spring rolls . he(along with the restaurant) smelled very nice and clean. the spring rolls, fries, and smoothie lead me to perfect serenity
That server boy gave me some real good popcorn chicken. That was some damn good service too!! 9/10 would recommend

Went despite the reviews to give it a chance, and turned out to be so much better than i was expecting. First, the lady was not rude, if you are familiar with asian customer service. Literally feels like home, i think all the negative comments are exaggerating and unfamiliar with the ropes of a family business. She accommodated me well. The server boy was very nice as well. Playing some Knock2 rave music approved. He was also very clean and well dressed, smelled nice. Love this youthful vibe in guppy. drink of course was awesome, i had a thai tea, very regular and standard. Would come again!

The cashier is so handsome, i will definitely come again. The food was amazing, it was truly life changing. It opened my eyes to the complexity of life and ultimately will lead me to nirvana and the key to happiness. The popcorn chicken led to true satisfaction and gave me much pleasure. Everything was served in foam and to go bags when we ate in. Couldnt finish my meal- worst restaurant meal ive had probably ever. If youre just getting a milk tea and not food then go for it, they have a huge size milk tea that tastes decent for a good price. Otherwise I wouldnt order from here.
