Guppy House Reviews
The vegetable chow mein was good and I recommend it. It settled well in my stomach. The orange chicken and rice were okay. I would return for the chow mein — the orange chicken wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great. The restaurant has a somewhat run-down vibe, but perhaps that’s just the economy.
The lady was really nice and the food was good, I like popcorn chicken
Me and my husband love the guppy house! We always order the spam fried rice, brick toast, shaved ice, popcorn chicken, and it’s always delicious. Everyone who works there is super nice. We drive about an hour to go here and it’s extremely worth it.
Guppy House offers delicious Taiwanese noodles and rice dishes with authentic flavors that remind customers of home. The coconut butter brick toast and beef stew are highlights, although portions are a bit small. The shaved ice is a nostalgic favorite that lives up to expectations. The service is good, following Asian customer service standards, and outside food and drinks are not allowed. Despite changes from its previous sit-down style, the food quality remains excellent. For those craving a taste of Taiwan, this spot is worth the visit, even if it's a bit of a drive. The pineapple fried rice, fried chicken, spicy noodles, brick toast, and shaved ice were ordered, and most were just as remembered. Pineapple fried rice did not come in a pineapple, but the fried rice was still the same. Everything comes in disposable plates, and water bottles had to be purchased.
