Beautiful outdoor dining, sensational food with loads of options for plant-based guests, fabulous beverages (including one of the BEST almond lattes) and exceptionally hospitable staff and service. Parking is a bit beastly but they do offer valet - just leave extra time for arrival and departure because it's usually a packed parking lot and the attendants can only do so much.

AMAZING. Everything is fantastic! Food, drinks, service, ambiance - 10 stars. My fiance and I had dinner here to celebrate getting our marriage license and had a wonderful time! A bonus was that the master, Chef Michael Reed, himself was in and was kind enough to come out and meet us! Highly recommend this outstanding restaurant!

The hostesses were rude. They gave away our table even though we had a reservation and they made us wait another 30 min before we were seated. No apologies. Asked the hostess to take a picture for us and she said she had a table of 20 to take care of. Napkin was dirty, table was dirty, we got a menu with no food on it, they didn't even get all of our orders, and they didn't check in periodically after we ordered. The drive thru at Chick-Fil-A and In-N-Out has better service and you wouldn't be spending your money on overpriced food with crappy service.

Only thing great about this place is the ambiance and the open concept of a greenhouse. The food was not good at all and the waitress takes forever to get what you ask. Came in on Saturday morning with reservations. The hosts are really nice, sat down and ordered eggs benedict (which is on a biscuit) who does that! It's completely hard and falls apart so easily when cut. Then we ordered the patty melt, which I have no idea why the bread is marbled? Looks like mixture of dark and light bread... really weird. I had to ask the waitress 3x to bring napkins and lemons on the side. On brighter side they are on top of bringing water quick. Overall come for the vibes and drinks but the food is below average.

I gave a high rating because we just were very surprised at the great service and delightful experience. Pleasantly surprized. Don't let the higher prices fool you. This place has great food. Tantalizing your taste buds. The Lobster rolls were the hit of the night . We could not get enough. A must if you stop here. The waiter Nolan was very knoledgeable and explained the dishes we ordered. I have to say all the wait staff stopped at our table to check to make sure we were happy. You never see that at restaurants. We loved it! As seniors it is a once in a while place to visit but I have to say we look forward to another visit. We also ordered the wagyu wrapped pot stickers...sorry they call it a tort something. Very tasty good spices you get two and just right size. The other entree was the scallops very tender and the cream sauce base delish. We enjoyed our purchase desserts rts desserts which is a rare order bother were tasty. All in all the ambiance was relaxing and nice even though you are sitting close to the main street.

We had dinner with our party of 6 after visiting The Blind Rabbit. Service was great and the food was delicious.everyone had something different, Lamb chops, scallops, cavatavi pasta, and branzino were among the choices. Everything was expertly prepared with nice wines being enjoyed by everyone. Great spot after visiting The Blind Rabbit!

Superb! The food, ambiance, and service were 10/10! The gorgeous atmosphere gives you a choice of sitting indoors in a greenhouse or outdoors among nature. The service was amazing! Our hostess was very kind in letting us walk around to let us choose our spot, and our waitress, Jane, was so knowledgeable and kind in her recommendations of cocktails, wine, and food! We decided to order a few different food items, and all of them were delicious- especially the ceviche (we could drink the broth for days!), short rib tortellini, and chicken schnitzel! I can't describe how well cooked and how good the sauces are! We are excited to go again! Thank you!

Small portions with a big price tag. $48 for a Hanger steak that looks like 6 oz, where's the "beef"? Servers look confused and without clear direction. You get 1 star for the beautiful garden patio. No manager presence whatsoever. Beyond disappointed.

Food: 3.5/5 Duck Fat Confit Fingerling Potato's were 5/5 absolutely delicious and soft when chewing. Aged White Cheddar Dip was 4/5. Due to personal preference, I wasn't expecting it to be so rich. Potato chips were very crisp and airy. Lobster and Shrimp Risotto was 2/5. My first time trying the dish. Not much lobster or shrimp to be found. I also didn't like the texture of risotto. With a grain of salt it may just not be a dish for me. Rosewood Texas Wagyu Hangar Steak was a 4.5/5. The taste was delicious along with the potato's. I didn't eat much of the greens but they were alright. My only disdain was I asked for medium cooked steak and got medium rare. However still tasty. Service: 5/5 I have no complaints regarding service. Being a young couple sometimes we get some side eyes for going to restaurants, but we felt very welcome when we arrived. Quick service all around applause. Ambiance: 4/5 The bathrooms are located in the back outside which was disconnected from the restaurant. It felt a bit eery in the hall/backpath. However the bathrooms themselves were spotless. It can get slightly loud, but not much louder than a typical steakhouse. Lighting is beautiful and the seating arrangements as well. Drinks: 4/5 Snapdragon - 4/5 it was a nice buzz and strong taste mixed with the hibiscus. Poppy's Pink Drink - 1/5 my partner and I couldn't get ourselves to finish this one off. It just didn't taste right, may have been the texture of the mix. Purple Sprinkle - 5/5 my partner loved this drink which I ordered for her due to the disliking of the pink drink. Bubbly, smooth, and sweet. Overall: 3.5/5 I would consider going back to try the rest of the menu. This is still an okay spot for a dinner with your significant other or some friends from out of town. NOTE: Parking in the lot area is typically full especially at night time. Arrive 15-20 minutes before reservation to look for parking. Parking along the close by streets is legal and typically available with a short walk.

Lovely experience. The restaurant is open and airy with a beautiful ambience outdoors and in. We sat on the patio in a shaded area. A few people in direct sun in another party were hot so a good idea to ask for a shaded table. We went for Sunday brunch (so brunch menu) which is reasonably priced ($20-30/entree) and the food was delicious. I had the eggs Benedict and it was a good interpretation using biscuits as the base and a zesty Hollandaise sauce. The eggs were perfectly poached. My companions had the ceviche and side salad (very large) and chicken and waffles. Both delicious and perfect for our hunger level. Service was excellent. I'd go again. The only downside is the parking. As others have said add in an extra 15 minutes to account for a challenging area to park. There is valet ($8).

Really underwhelming. I originally harbored really high expectations but was ultimately let down-- I don't really know how a place expects to earn michelin stars when: the front of house service is lackluster, food that the waitress say isn't a popular dish don't have enough servings prepped for the night, and to top it off the ambiance was really ruined by a group of rowdy drunks in the table next to us. Not even bib gourmand worthy in my opinion. Moreover what's the point in asking for requests on reservations if they're ignored regardless? I asked the hostess for inside seating and was put outside on a colder night--topping it off with one of the front of house turning off the heaters next to us despite me asking him to turn it back on (they stayed off). Cocktails and dessert were the only redeeming factor to an otherwise disheartening birthday celebration. I don't have the heart to rate places--especially BIPOC owned--1 star unless they've really earned it. Really hope others don't share my experience.

For drinks we ordered the golden afternoon, the appletree, the campfire and the blacker the berry. The golden afternoon was a small portion but still very good. The spiced apple garnish that comes with the appletree is the same one they use to infuse the bourbon and is delicious. The campfire was the perfect balance of smoke and sweet and spice. It really did remind me of being by a campfire. The blacker the berry was strong but still well balanced as well and the orange zest made an amazing aromatic. All the drinks were expertly crafted and the right balance of alcohol and flavor. For food, we started with the squash blossoms, steak tartare, and grilled octopus. The squash blossoms had a truffle and herb honey coating that was flavorful and the right amount of sweet and savory. The octopus was very tender and the beans added a nice texture and flavor. The chili oil adds a nice kick without being overly spicy while the cilantro adds a nice brightness. The steak tartare was the most flavorful we've had, and the mustard seed ties the dish together. For our mains we ordered the branzino, the spinach cavatelli, and the lobster risotto. The branzino was light and the crispy skin added the perfect texture. The citrus sauce was a nice balance of sweet and acidic to balance out the richness of the cauliflower puree. The greens added a nice amount of bitterness to round it out. The duck sausage was the highlight of the cavatelli. The pasta was cooked al dente and really fresh. The presentation of the lobster risotto was stunning! They put large chunks of lobster in the entire dish and the shellfish foam is a brilliant addition. The risotto is rich and creamy. The truffle is complementary and not overwhelming. This dish definitely stole the show. The decor is beautiful on the inside and feels very spacious with the greenhouse vibe. The tables outside were spaced appropriately where you didn't hear other tables' conversations. The music isn't too loud but a nice addition. There are ample heat lamps outside to keep the tables warm. The service was on point and attentive, without helicoptering over you or asking how everything was when you have a mouth full of food. They had great recommendations and knew the menu thoroughly.

I've been here 3 times now and it just keeps getting better! My husband follows a Black owned business page on IG & learned of this gem. He brought me for my birthday & the food was spectacular. We came back for brunch, our toddler was amazed by the greenhouse & also loved the food. Back again for my husband's birthday with a party of 10 & yet again rave reviews! My toddler walked in this time & the first thing she said was "HOW BEAUTIFUL!" The kids don't lie. The most gorgeous greenhouse gives way to amazing food and an incredible experience. Every server I've had here so far has felt like a friend. They are very kind, attentive, & knowledgeable of the menu. This time I tasted pork belly, spaghetti carbonara & the pork chop and I cannot stop thinking about it. I'm ready for another night of deliciousness! So I'm sure we'll be back soon.

I read about this place on a website claiming it was "one of the best brunch spots in OC," so I was prepared for a tasty meal and great atmosphere. Unfortunately, I was let down. I made a reservation, and it took nearly ten minutes for my boyfriend and I to be seated because the hostesses couldn't decide what to do with a bigger party ahead of us. Instead of having them move to the side and working it out later, us and the party ahead of us had to wait 10 minutes for it to be sorted. We were seated outside and it began to rain. There was an umbrella nearby and when we asked to move it so we could be covered, we were told they couldn't move it. What?!? We were told we could move our table instead. Me and my boyfriend had to physically pick up the table and move it under cover. My first mistake was asking for still instead of tap water, because of course we were eventually charged $8 for it. Our waiter was generally inattentive. I ordered a latte and was not offered cream or sugar. I had to ask another waiter later, and he fetched it quickly. I ordered the scramble, which was tasty but horribly overpriced. I was given toast but not offered jam or butter. My boyfriend ordered the chilaquiles, which he hated. Finally, when our check came, the total was $68. We were astounded. Instead of making a fuss, we simply paid knowing we would never come back. A young lady in glasses, I assume the owner or manager, came back to collect our check. Only after she already ran it did she ask how we liked the food. We complained, but she couldn't do much considering she already ran the check. She halfheartedly apologized and told us we could return for dinner sometime. We won't.
