Taquerias Guadalajara Reviews
Travel Nurse here. Just moved to this place and decided to give it a shot on my first night. Big mistake. Worst customer service I’ve experienced. Got stuck with Angel, who had a terrible attitude, and to top it off, they actually charged me $5 for a cup of ice. Ridiculous.
I’m saddened to make this post as my bf and I have been regular fan customers for the last two years. Yesterday was our last time going to Taquerias Guadalajara on 4th street in Santa Ana unless we see that the building is closed and fumigated. Yesterday we ordered Super Nachos de carne asada and the chilaquiles plate. After my bf and I started eating the nachos we noticed a WHOLE COCKROACH inside the nachos. Late-night authentic guadalajara food. It's pricey but if your hungry, its late and craving some Mexican food, you could find some good food here. I would personally recommend the chicken torta. ( "Mexican sandwich" ) They serve beers, cocktails, micheladas, etc. Open 24 hours in the anaheim blvd location. I have so many memories here and I've seen the business grow over time and the menu changed a lot. It has improved but also gone pricier.

Taquerias Guadalajara is a Mexican restaurant known for its delicious and authentic cuisine. The reviews praise the quality of the food, particularly the tacos de birria, birria en caldo, and the micheladas. Customers also appreciate the late-night hours, making it a convenient option after events. The salsa bar is a highlight, though the cups are small. The menu features a variety of tacos such as carnitas, asada, and lengua, all described as bomb. The restaurant is clean, with polite staff and a lively atmosphere. There is also a patio available for guests with furry friends. The California Fries are large enough for two, and the micheladas are made in-house without Clamato, which many find amazing. While some note that prices are higher than other Mexican restaurants in the area, the quality of the food remains excellent and consistent. Overall, Taquerias Guadalajara is a popular spot for those looking for traditional Mexican flavors in a friendly setting.
