I had heard this is one of the best wineries in Napa Valley, and that turned out to be absolutely true. It’s one of the most visually stunning places I’ve ever visited—rolling hills, beautiful vineyards, and incredible architecture. The tour was absolutely worth it. Nancy was fantastic: extremely entertaining, informative, and clearly very knowledgeable about the winery’s history and its wines. As for the tasting, everything was excellent, and we ended up purchasing several bottles—it was well worth it. The quality is outstanding, and I would absolutely come back again.

Have ordered online before. Had to visit and experience a wine tasting fist hand. Nancy was great and answered all our question and thoroughly, and spoke about wine in general and Cade products.

One of the best views while tasting smooth cabs! Kevin Ferry was our tasting and tour guide and he was awesome and a fellow Chicagoan. We had the best time and would 100% recommend! Still thinking about the wine!

I was fortunate enough to do a tasting at CADE Estate. Incredible wines, genuine -and passionate- service, and an eagerness to showcase their delectable wines.

I know a lot about wine, and I learned many new facts from my experience at CADE. But the education part never felt obtrusive to our desire to relax and have a good time - a delicate balance that requires picking up on cues. This time, it inspired us to discuss the wines, methods taken during production, and reasons for the complexities of a wine grown at a certain elevation above the rest of the Napa Valley with the associated viticultural stresses (read: on a slope at an elevation where the marine fog layer dissipates sooner).

Excellent wines, matched with exceptional service. Can't go wrong. It's up there near a peak (as the name of Howell Mountain's AVA should imply), so factor that into your travel plans and don't be late. You'll be rewarded for being a good guest with additional pours of wine I ended up purchasing.

CADE knows what they are doing and is pushing the envelope. For example, you can purchase screw tops OR traditionally corked bottles of the exact same wine. I don't know of many other, if any other, wineries that do this, and this producer creates some of the best juice I've tasted. I brought home the corked options, but a few years later, I would prefer the screw top for longer-term cellaring.

Great juice, team. Thanks.

Amazing wines with a breathtaking view of the valley. We had a blast learning about all of the Cade wines and how they come about. Highly recommend others to try them out. Bravo!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Must-Visit Winery with Incredible Wine and Even Better Hospitality!

Let’s start with the fact that we may have gotten a little lost on the way (who knew Google Maps wasn’t a sommelier?), but thankfully, our host at CADE Estate Winery welcomed us with open arms and a full glass—exactly how every great experience should begin.

From the first sip to the last, the wines were chef’s kiss perfection. I wanted to revisit so many of them that I briefly considered “accidentally” getting lost again just for a second tasting. Each pour was better than the last, making it dangerously easy to forget time existed.

But the real star of the show? Our host. If winery tours were a sport, they’d be the MVP. Charming, knowledgeable, and so engaging that we could have sat there for hours, sipping and soaking in every story about the estate.

If you’re putting together a Napa tour list, CADE needs to be on it. Just don’t trust your GPS too much—getting lost might just be part of the experience!

I had high hopes for CADE Estate Winery, but unfortunately, the experience did not live up to the reputation. The biggest letdown was the service—our host seemed uninterested and rushed through the tasting without providing much insight into the wines or the estate. It felt like they were just going through the motions rather than creating a memorable experience.

As for the wines, they were surprisingly mediocre, especially given the high prices. The reds lacked depth and balance, and I’ve had much better Cabernet Sauvignons in Napa for a fraction of the price. The tasting fee was outrageously expensive for what we got, and it certainly didn’t feel like a good value.

The views are beautiful, but that’s about the only highlight. Given the underwhelming service and overpriced wines, I wouldn’t recommend CADE. There are far better wineries in Napa where you’ll get a much more enjoyable and welcoming experience.

Cade provided the best view of any of the vineyards/wineries in the area. Howell mountain provided a scenic drive up to the top where Cade delivered with a high end feel. Emmett was our host and he gave us a great tasting full of good insight as well as a comprehensive tour of their winery. Savs and Cabs are their specialty and it is quite obvious they know their specialty. All the wines we tasted were delicious and kept us wanting more!

Breathtaking! Our morning tasting came with an amazing view, perfect weather, the best seat in front of the gravity pond, unbelievable wine…and Jesse!
Our tour of the property, seeing the wine making process and how it happens, and the tour of the caves were spectacular.
The wine was superb. Thank you Jesse for making this visit one of our favorites during our visit to the Napa Valley.

Phenomenal experience from start to finish. The tasting room and estate are beautifully designed. The wine is superb which matches the customer experience! Emmett & team were friendly, knowledge and knew how to make the tasting feel personalized!

We visited the 13th Vineyard at Cade yesterday for the first time. We had an incredible experience with Jesse as our wine educator. He took us through the vineyard, the facility, and the cellar. We learned how to smell different notes of wine and got to taste some of the grapes! He is originally from Michigan, so we formed an immediate connection as we are from Michigan! I would highly recommend the 13th to all of my friends! Very excited to visit again the next time we are back.

The views from Cade were fantastic. Nancy was very welcoming, giving us a tour of the wine cellars and sharing insights into the winemaking process. The wines were excellent. I’d definitely visit again.
