This is the most authentic Indian punjabi restaurant in California. You can get dishes that are local to punjab that you can't find in other restaurants. The fish pakorda, panner pakorda are great! The tandori chicken is full of flavor. The garlic Naan has real garlic on it. The kheer is a perfect dessert. I don't go to other Indian restaurants anymore, this place is simply the best. Also.... excellent customer service! You must have their Chole Buture, they are authentic.
This place had good reviews but when we pulled up the facade of the restaurant was not very inviting. Coming inside was not any better. I couldn't tell what kind of business I was stepping into or if I was even at a restaurant excepting the tables and place settings.We started with sone vegetable Samosas which were great as were the dipping sauces of mint and tamarind.We ordered but we're not able to get the meat we wanted as they were out of it and several others. Impeccably delicious and authentic Indian, I highly recommend the fish pakora , best in town! The tandoori chicken has more flavor than any other Indian restaurant in the area. I've been to many other places but Sanja Punjab takes the cake ?
