Venus Pie Trap Reviews
I might recommend this place for its pies & pastries, but not their coffee offerings. I guess they don’t get many requests for mochas because what I got was mostly milk with a splash of coffee & zero chocolate. Getting it iced costs another 50¢, which I’ve never seen before. They really don’t promote their coffee beverages, so…. Hopefully your experience will be better.
Food was ok. I had a slice of quiche which they heated in a pizza oven and burned the crust. My friend had pizza which had hardly any cheese and the Parmesan was full of blue mold. Coffee were good. Service was awful. Counter woman scowled at me and threw my food on the counter. The staff were chatting about some other customers who were upset about something. Not service focused and the ubiquitous 18% on the pay pad… not returning. Gotta be better options .
Great food and coffee and my wife and I will be back again and again.

Venus Pie Trap is a cozy spot near the beach offering a variety of delicious food like pizza, quiche, and bagels, along with great coffee drinks. The place has limited options, but the flavors are excellent and prices are reasonable. They also have vegetarian and gluten-free options available, such as the flavorful samosa and crispy crust gluten-free pie. The cafe serves all kinds of pies, including pizza pie, banana cream pie, and spinach hand pies, and the array of coffees and teas is extensive. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, making it a delightful coffee shop experience. Visitors can enjoy outdoor seating, which is accessible and in an open-air venue, or take their food to the beach, making it a perfect place for a quick breakfast or lunch. Guests have enjoyed the pesto pizza with chilis and the pizza with mushrooms, both of which exceeded expectations. The menu features sweet and savory whole pies or slices, and the pizza looks very appealing. Whether stopping for strong black coffee, a vanilla latte, or a tasty slice, guests find this spot to be a good choice for both nourishment and enjoyment. The cafe also offers locally made pastries by morning and takeaway pizza by day, ensuring a delightful experience for all visitors.
