The Menudo is a bomb
Drive frequently between the Bay Area and Mt Shasta and this place is a gem. Burritos are some of the best. Sala is top notch. Quesadillas are super stuffed. Honestly everything here is great. People working here are all polite. Been here many many times and it’s pretty consistently fantastic. On my way here now!

Lonchera Maizal Maya is a gem for people between the Bay Area and Mt Shasta. The burritos are some of the best and the quesadillas are super stuffed. Tacos, quesabirria, crispy tacos and tacos de asada are really delicious and possibly the best. Carnitas, asada, cabeza and birria are also very delicious. The sala is top notch and the food is fantastic, amazing and awesome. People working here are polite, wonderful and even better. The covered area with picnic tables offers a great pit stop right off the road, with plenty of parking space. The taco stand is a fantastic Mexican food stop for truck drivers and people passing through, a 10 out of 10.
