This location is in Arcadia next to 99 Ranch Market. Parking is plentiful in the parking lot. Sunright is also next door.
I think this is a good place to get Shanghainese food. There are no frills. If you pay cash, you get a discount. I was here for dinner, and they ran out of some items already!
I ended up getting a noodle soup, which was so delicious on a cold night. The black sesame mochi roll was actually really delectable. I recommend sharing this because it gets carb-y. There is one restroom in the back.

Very disappointed with the dinner. This is a very good dumpling and noodle restaurant but don’t bother with its dinner dishes. All of them look and taste premade reheated. Absolutely no 鑊氣。

Super delicious Shanghainese food! I love their pancake 煎饼果子, soy milk豆浆, fried dough 油条,and San Huang chicken 三黄鸡. Portion is great and the place is decorated with many old Shanghai items which gives a pleasant vibe. The service is also top notch. I’ll definitely come back.
I went to this place recommended by friend and was shocked to see such a nice restaurant only has a rating of 3.9 - definitely worth 4.5 and higher in my mind.

The dumplings couldn't be cooked well, and they were all broken. The green dumplings are also not wrapped well, and the skin and fillings sink. Soy milk has a burnt smell. This store is a joke.

A fantastic Shanghai restaurant. As a Shanghainese, it truly captures the flavors of my hometown. You can confidently order anything from the menu without worrying, especially the pan-fried bun which really suprise me. The owner is very nice, and staff warm, making each visit a delightful experience. This cozy spot has quickly become one of my favorite places to return to.

The store is quite nice and the service is good. I went there early in the morning and asked about the pancakes, but they were told that the Arcadia store didn't have them. I bought green dumplings, egg cakes and fried dumplings. The first two were mediocre, but the last oil dumpling was not crispy and fragrant at all. The outer shell was too hard to bite, and there was a smell of oil consumption. I needed to change the oil. Youdunzi, who looks like this, was really beaten up in Shanghai.

The lion's head I ordered yesterday was too dry on the outside and still icy on the inside. A plate of 4 pieces cost more than $20 plus tax. It was too expensive and not worth it.
