I had been a long-time fan of Bearology. I have several of their glass jars from the time they were in malls. I took my girls to visit the store and was so disappointed. I spent $80 on four small drinks in plastic cups, two DIY noodle bowls, and popcorn chicken (the chicken was burnt, and the chips were stale). There were no activities. It was overpriced, and we didn't even get souvenir cups. Such a disappointment. Waste of money.

This place is absolutely despicable, pathetic and a complete rip off! The advertisement was misleading! It seamed more interesting on the website than when we showed up in person! I now know why this place was empty and remained that way while we were here! Don’t get scammed with any advertisement they put out for this place. $7 for a disgusting drink which was served in a plastic cup! $6.99 to make your own ramen and if you add spam for $1.50 more, it’s comes in a deplorable little cup. They serve you more food in jail than what this place offers! The decorations and theme were the only thing interesting and after a few minutes became lack luster! Don’t give this place your money! Shame on bearology and this sad excuse of a place that should be shut for the absolute disappointment it is!!!

Love love the atmosphere. Full of colorful decorations. Love the interactive stamp collection. The tiki food and Ramen was enjoyed by the family. Service was quick and all smiles.

I was hoping the Mugen Train event was still going on since Demon Slayer Infinity Castle just came out but unfortunately it wasn't. However, this Bearology has a really cool interior and the Squishmellow theme was still really cute. Kids love it.

The staff did nothing for us. They didn't even seat us, they just pointed at the table and told us to sit there. You have to order at a counter, get your own utensils, and pick up and COOK your own food in tight quarters. I kid you not. We ordered drinks, the bento box, the onigiri, and ramen. The bento box is not as advertised. It's a pre-made disposable paper and plastic container you'd expect to get at a gas station. The ramen is literally instant ramen in a plastic bag you need to open, assemble, and cook yourself with a single ramen cooker serving the entire restaurant, and it's positioned in the main walkway so you're dodging customers and staff the whole time. On top of that, they charge you to make a reservation, or charge you extra for your food if you don't. No one came to the table the entire time. As far as restaurants go, this doesn't even rank as high as a fast food restaurant, because at least they cook your food for you. This ranks closer to an AM/PM, Circle K, or 7-11 where you buy pre-made food and use their microwave to heat it.

This event was such a cash grab, had the laziest experience at this KnY x Bearology experience.

The booths were a lot smaller than I thought... When we got there we were told that we're sharing a booth with strangers. The waiter then squeezed us into a small booth with another couple. It was awkward because I don't think any of us were prepared to make small talk/eat in front of other people.

When we had tried to order, the other couple thankfully warned us not to get the bento box (the meat rice bento that Kyujuro eats on the train) because they ran out of the physical bento box so they were only selling the marinated meat with rice in a regular bowl for $25. 🙃 We opted not to order. Their matcha churro was also EIGHT DOLLARS. That's MORE than DISNEYLAND and it didn't even taste like matcha. Then their drinks were $7 for a 14oz drink. The tea didn't taste like anything, watery and bland. Everything was SO expensive for the quality. 😭 Also thankfully we didn't order food items because hot damn, there wouldn't have been enough table space. 😂

The other couple wrapped up, said their goodbyes and left, I thought: sweet maybe we'll get a little bit of personal time and enjoy the extra space. Not even 2 minutes goes by and the staff asks us to move to another table to sit with another couple so they can give the booth to another couple that just came in. Why? Just sit them at the booth you're asking us to switch to. We were so frustrated and annoyed that we ended up just leaving because nobody was having a good time. 🤦🏻‍♀️

I've never paid so much to make my own ramen. If I had known I would have had to make my own lunch standing in the middle of the aisle, having to navigate staff passing me with trash cans I would have made other plans. The idea might have been good but there was no good experience here. The staff wasn't rude but why did we tip them not to make our food or bring it to us? We drove a long way thinking this would be something really cool and it was more like eating at my Jr college cafeteria. Actually, my Jr college cafeteria had better food.
