I would highly recommend this place for dim sum. However, I must mention that the deep-fried pandan bun (斑斓生煎包) falls below the standard. Nevertheless, every other dish is definitely worth trying. It's a popular spot, the shop is not big so expect to queue before getting a table. The service is average.Parking: You can just find a spot to park in front of the shop. It’s easy to find a parking lot.

Without a doubt, this dining experience ranks among the finest I've had in quite some time. The level of efficiency demonstrated by this establishment surpasses any I've encountered before. From the graceful seating of patrons to the prompt tea service, order taking, and the arrival of steaming dishes, every aspect of the atmosphere was elegantly orchestrated. The lively chatter, mingled with enticing aromas, kept me captivated long after my last bite. Savoring the most aromatic green tea I've ever tasted, I found myself unwilling to leave, already planning my return visit

Dimsum was pretty good IF/WHEN you get seating. We ate the usual dimsum; dishes were freshly made. Some unique, & some common. The only complaint I have is one party cut in line because they actually know one of the chefs, which is a typical Asian move. Chances of me returning is 2/10. Lastly, parking sucks.

Great tasting dim sum! We ordered the usual spread, everything tastes authentic i.e. freshly made, but there were a couple that disappointed us (especially pandan pan fried bao) but overall the place didn't let us down. Expect to queue on weekends as it gets busy! Service staff are efficient and can't complain. Did not try their normal dishes from the menu.

Went with some friends on a Sunday morning and thought the dim sum was better than many of the places in SGV. The plating actually looks nice and the quality of food was good as well. Would return again.

Chef Tony is a fancier dim sum spot that has really good Cantonese dishes. I went for dinner so I got to try their a few of their non dim sum dishes as well as traditional dim sum plates.Ordered:1. Egg tofu with mushrooms2. Clay pot rice with chicken3. Braised eggplant with pork4. Crispy bun with pork & shrimp5. Deep fried pork dumplingEven though the prices for dim sum here are a little more than other places, I feel like it was worth it because of the quality of the food. Each dish was so delicious and freshly made. I would def come here again during lunchtime to try more of their dim sum.

Desserts seem to be the highlight, better than the main courses.

Chef Tony Dim Sum offers a distinctive dim sum experience without traditional carts. Instead, you select your dishes by marking them on a paper menu. Their menu boasts a diverse array of delectable dim sum options. With limited seating and high demand, it's advisable to arrive early or be ready for a brief wait, as this popular restaurant tends to reach full capacity swiftly.

I first heard about Chef Tony in Vancouver, BC. When I learned that they opened restaurants in SoCal, I had to go try it. Usually, my wife and I come back from SoCal on a Sunday so we decided to get some dim sum before heading back to the Bay Area. We arrive 15 minutes before they open, and there's no line. We are literally the first group to enter the restaurant. We know exactly what we want, so we mark all our items on the order form, and the food comes out really fast.Everything is high quality and made really well. They have some unique items as well. I love their Chinese donut. It's stuffed with shrimp. It's not too greasy, and nicely fried to a crispy exterior, with the added richness of sweet mayonnaise dolloped on top. Their buns are another standout, it's unbelievably soft and airy. The pandan buns are a must get too. There are a lot of bougy items on the menu that come with truffle, squid ink, etc.Chef Tony is definitely going to be my regular breakfast/lunch stop on road trips to SoCal!

I went to this restaurant twice and both times gave me the same vibes, the servers there don't want to serve. When we first walked in, no one was at the front and I had to flag someone down to put my name on the wait list. Its a shame because I really like the food, they all came out fresh and hot but I can't truly enjoy the food with this level of service. We ordered a radish cake yesterday and we ended up packing the entire order to go and realized the plate was broken in half. We told one of the server and her response was 'OK'.....Since I love the food here so much I would probably try the Monterey Park location, heard the service at the other location is much better.

Best Black Truffle Siu Mai I've ever had!!!It is nice to enjoy high quality dim sum anytime of the day.Place was not busy on a Sunday late afternoon. They offer main entrees as well.Dim sum menu is similar to Old Town Pasadena's menu, but maybe smaller. Take note: Rice noodle (cheung fun) is served up till 4pm.Service is like any other typical Chinese restaurant - nothing impressive and could use some work if they want to stay in business.
