My mother in law got food poisoning at DTF in Arcadia last time. We believe it was the prepackaged ginger that goes into the vinegar. It was so unfortunate because we usually have a pleasant experience but she got very sick. Highly recommend your team look into this. She was out for almost day and a half.

As a food critic, I approach every restaurant with an open mind and a willingness to be impressed. Unfortunately, my experience at this Din Tai Fung location fell far below even the most basic expectations of quality and hospitality.
The food arrived cold, underseasoned, and carelessly prepared, including a dish that contained a strand of hair—an unacceptable lapse in kitchen standards. Portion sizes were surprisingly small, especially considering the restaurant’s reputation and price point.
Service was the most disappointing aspect of the visit. Despite long wait times both to be seated and to receive food, the staff remained unresponsive, disorganized, and at times openly dismissive. Orders were delivered to the wrong tables, and attempts to clarify the status of my meal were ignored. This level of inattentiveness reflects a serious breakdown in training and management.
Dining should feel welcoming; instead, this experience felt chaotic and indifferent. Based on the overall quality of the food, the service, and the lack of professionalism, this location will be permanently removed from my list of recommended establishments. I cannot, in good conscience, suggest this restaurant to readers seeking a reliable or enjoyable dining experience.

Great ambiance!! Service was great, as well. My server, Alden, was fantastic, he knew I loved the fresh grated ginger with my dumplings and kept making sure I had enough with each bite!! Great, fresh, tasty dumplings!! Highly recommended!! Get their original Xioa long boa soup dumplings!! And chicken fried noodles for longevity for the lunar new year. Everything was heart warmingly delicious!! It's no wonder they received the Michelin stars!! Worth it!! Also, they have a new mango shaved ice dessert!! Delicious!!

The two of us came here to eat and waited for an hour without our food arriving. The staff at the front desk said it would be ready in half an hour, but we waited for over an hour. They didn't even give us a menu to order from; we had to order ourselves. There's no point in eating here. Definitely a bad review. Don't discriminate against Asians.
