Came here on a very rainy day. Walked in & the store was completely empty - like, no workers in sight. I browsed the menu and prepared to order. A few minutes later, a guy came out and yelled to the back that someone was here. A girl came out and took my order. The 2 workers made me feel like they were brother and sister who were dragging their feet at home and trying to get the other one to do the work. I get it, it was a rainy day and I'm sure neither of them wanted to work. But kinda awkward to witness. I felt like I should apologize for walking in and making them work!Took my coconut with mango, jumbo mango pomelo sago, and mango mochi home to share with the family. Everyone enjoyed everything. Although the desserts were delightful, definitely service was lacking. I'd come back, so hopefully the awkward service was just a 1 time thing.

Disappointing. The first time I came here I ordered the mango and coconut juice with grass jelly. Loved it!!!Came here again today and was met by a young male employee who made my drink in a rush because he was on his phone playing his game. Also, got my order wrong. If you do come here, make sure you don't meet this dude. He made my drink so fast and it was SO gross. I had to throw it away.

I love this place! My go to order is their mango & pomelo with sago drink. Although their stuff is hella pricey, I still enjoy them because their stuff is just so good! Their mangos are also so sweet! This place is my special occasion drink store.

If you like mangoes, jelly and sago, this is the place to come get some desserts! They have pudding, pancake, mochi, drinks, etc, but they are on the pricier side. And parking is easy too.|| What I GotI tried the pomelo and mango with sago, mango delightful trio, and mango pancake. They were great, but they had big chunks of mango pieces (I was expecting them to be on the softer side). The pancake was soft and fluffy.

i came here with high hopes. i was originally going to get the mango chewy ball, but they were out. i was honestly disappointed by this because the chewy balls were the only reason i went there in the first place. i ended up getting something else, and let me tell you- it was pretty flavorless. i couldn't taste any mango. overall: disappointing, expensive, and flavorless

I first discovered this chain when I was in Vancouver. If you love Hong Kong desserts, specifically mangoes, this is the place for you. They have a variety of desserts ranging from sagos, jellies, mochis, pancakes, and drinks. If you cannot decide, I recommend getting the mango romance. It is a sample trio which consists of mochi, mango chewy ball, and mango sago. All year long, their mangos are fresh and sweet. Portion sizes are great for sharing if you want to try more than one dessert. I typically order one dessert per person and get the mango mochis to go. Depending on the time and day you go, there might be a wait for tables. They have limited seating, but if the weather is great you can always sit outside and enjoy your dessert.

If you are craving sweet, mango flavored desserts, this place is for you. Hui Lau Shan specializes in mango inspired dessert, frozen sorbert with mochi. I love anything mango, so I knew I had to check this place out.The desserts are fresh and inviting, the fruit is supple and melts in your mouth. Are you salivating yet? Haha. My friend and I ordered two different desserts and shared. I don't remember the names, but one had chewy mochi balls, mango ice cream, and fresh mango cubes in a mango puree. It was light and chilly, best after eating something salty from dinner. The other item as mango with a light coconut flavored sauce, over purple rice. Purple rice you say? Uh huh. It's really good. Kinda wished there was more rice though, but still very tasty. Don't eat too fast though! I kept getting brain freeze from the ice cream. When something is so tasty, you just want to go all in quick! Lol. I hope ya'll can come check this place out. It's might mango-licious and leave your taste buds dancing. Enjoy!

The service is bad. The guy cutting the fruits was singing out loud with no mask on. The girl is probably new too, she has hard time to introduce the items on the menu. They were too enjoy flirting to service customers and cut mangos, I guess that's why I can barely find the mango in my dessert. the bowl I received is half full, not sure if it's standard.

the last time i went to hui lau shan was back in november, and i still think about that visit every once in a while. before i went there, i had never heard of hui lau shan, so i really didnt know what to expect. my friends and i ordered different things to share, but because it was so long ago, i dont quite remember what we ordered. all i can remember is that one of the desserts we had consisted of mango and rice balls, and they were absolutely amazing!!!!!!! even though it was november, the mango was very yummy and tasty??? and the rice balls were soooooo gooooood!!! oh my god. i dont know how to explain it, but you could really taste that they were handmade. they were just so amazing and absolutely life changing i havent been to hui lau shan since then due to their locations being quite far from me, but i do hope to go back soon. they are absolutely amazing, and a great place for anyone who enjoys mango ^__^

For anyone that loves mango, Hui Lau Shan is the go to. My favorites are the mango pomelo with sago and the mango with chewy ball. The sago is light, chewy and just delicious. The coconut mango combo is immaculate. The mangos were a bit overripe the last time I went, but overall this place is truly the place to be for anyone that loves tropical desserts. Also, I noticed that this location seems to be understaffed most of the time which doesn't affect the desserts, but be prepared to wait. I went on a hot Saturday afternoon and they forgot about my order. Nonetheless, I highly recommend Hui Lau Shan for the perfect summer treat.

I've had this spot bookmarked for a while and I'm so glad that it didn't disappoint! My bf and I came and shared order A4 (mango chewy ball) which was a bowl of the icy mango with diced up mango and huge tapioca balls lol. It was super refreshing and not too sweet at all. I think he liked the chewy balls cause I looked away for like a minute and half of them were gone haha. We also ordered the durian and mango pancakes, mango mochi and D5 (mango & coconut juice with aloe jelly). +_Mango and durian pancakes had fresh fruit with light cream and the perf texture pancake! +_The mango mochis were delicious! Mochi was chewy and the coconut flakes gave the mango an extra tropical twist and texture. +_the mango and coconut juice with aloe jelly was also really good. The coconut juice is actually coconut milk and the aloe jelly wasn't overly sweet. Yay! I'd order everything again but tbh I'll probably try something new cause everything I got was so good! Also learned that my grandma used to take me to this dessert chain in Hong Kong when I was a kid and it just made sharing this with her all the more sweeter! Def recommend checking this place out!

If you are craving delicious mango dessert, this is your right place. We went last weekend, the weather was extremely hot and we wanted something refreshing. We ordered the following: - Mango pancake 5/5 - Durian pancake 5/5 - Mango Mochi. 5/5 - Pomelo & Mango with sago 5/5 , I wish i could give more stars for that dessert. It is really delicious. The parking lot was spacious, we did not have any problems. There were some few problems that we experienced: -There was one employee who was working alone going back and forth between making the dessert for customers who placed their orders and to the register to take the new orders. It was obvious that the guy was overwhelmed. - based on the previous problem, we had to wait for about 25 minutes until we got our order. Even the guy finish an order for a customer who came after us first! - The AC was not working .There was one fan only which did not add anything to the high temperature inside. - There was another employee who came to the front for a couple of times, but she didn't take any order or try to help in doing the desserts, meanwhile there were many customers waiting in the heat inside the shop. The desserts are perfect and they really deserve 5/5, but the customer service was not efficient beside they were understaffed. I can give them excuses for the broken AC but they could bring more fans at least. I will go back to try more of their desserts . Hopefully the AC will be working next time.

Came to Hui Lau Shan for a refreshing drink and decided to get the Mango Coconut with Sago drink. The mango this time around was not sweet at all. The first couple sips were disappointing but it did get better after letting the drink melt a little. The coconut, sago, and mango were better mixed once it was more melted, which gave a better blend of flavors. There's plenty of parking in this plaza and service was okay. Overall, I'm not sure if I will come back to this location. The mango can be a hit or miss and it's a little on the pricier side.

Ughhh I wish this place was closer to me! I'd be there all the time! I get the D3 and it's so creamy and smooth and not overtly sweet. It's like the perfect summer drink!
