KIYO Japanese Cuisine offers an excellent dining experience with unique dishes and friendly service. I tried the New Lobster Roll, and it was incredibly unique—I've never had anything like it before. The Sexy Lady Roll was another standout, with everything tasting so fresh and of great quality. The Miso Soup was perfectly balanced, not too salty or bland. I also got the Beef Udon Soup which was pretty light and healthy.

I appreciated the quick customer service and the friendly staff, who made the experience even more enjoyable. Watching the sushi being prepared added a special touch to the meal. For families, there are high chairs available for children, which is a thoughtful addition. The free parking is another great convenience.

I ended up spending about $70 before the tip, which I found reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. Overall, I highly recommend KIYO Japanese Cuisine for anyone looking for a fresh and memorable sushi experience!

Parking: Huge parking lot in shared plaza, plenty of parking.

Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs available.

Gave them a 2nd chanced this evening, and it went okay. ??‍♀️ Blue crab wasn't as fresh. Found out avocado ? ? was better last time. Service was attentive this round.

Ordered did not match what I was charged or asked for. Albacore is not avocado! ?

Ordered miso soup $3.75 small cup was only slightly warm and only had 2 tiny squares of tofu in it. Missing the seaweed
Ordered one veggie cut roll don’t remember the price but it was terrible not worth a dollar. The rice was hard and dry not sticky rice as expected. Veggie roll was filled with lettuce, a sliver of carrot, a tiny square of cucumber and a very thin slice of avocado . No noori which is traditional for sushi rolls and mandatory for my taste in sushi. Completely flavorless. Aside from the generous amount of ginger… I am highly disappointed with the quality of the food and lack of taste in the two dishes I ordered. Won’t be going back to this restaurant, ever.

Premium chirashi don with fresh cuts and good size but the uni unfortunately has that somewhat smelly//briny taste to it. Blue crab hand roll is sweet. The ootoro has some. Caviar on top and is fragrant and fatty. The sushi is on the pricier end but for the larger cuts and overall quality it is fairly priced.

If you're looking for a fantastic spot to celebrate Father's Day in Arcadia, look no further than **Kiyo Japanese Cuisine**. This gem of a restaurant offers incredibly fresh ingredients and delightful dishes that will impress any sushi lover.

**Highlights of Our Visit:**

- **Uni Tofu**: The sea urchin and tofu combination is nothing short of perfection. A must-try for anyone who appreciates fine flavors.

- **Sea Bass Sashimi**: We enjoyed this dish at a special price of $25 (down from $32) by showing a specific post. The sea bass can be prepared two ways: as sashimi or fried, making it a versatile and delicious choice.

- **Sea Urchin, Conch, and Oyster Combo**: A stunning platter that showcases the freshness and quality of their seafood.

- **Sweet Shrimp**: These were a highlight! The shrimp can be prepared two ways, and the fried shrimp head adds an extra crunch that’s absolutely delightful.

- **Sashimi Combo**: Perfectly cut, fresh, and flavorful.

- **Sea Bass**: Another hit on the menu that’s not to be missed.

The atmosphere at Kiyo Japanese Cuisine is welcoming, and the service is top-notch. It made our Father's Day celebration truly special. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking to enjoy authentic and high-quality Japanese cuisine.

Japanese cuisine, with its fresh ingredients and superb taste, is exceptional. Sushi offers a perfect combination of rice and sashimi, while live sweet shrimp is amazing, with legs still moving. Sashimi, such as oysters, are delightful. The ingredients are displayed in the hall, adding to the experience. The good service and pleasant atmosphere make dining here a true pleasure.

Japanese dishes are a true delight. Sushi is both beautiful and delicious, and the fresh shrimp is so vibrant it can seem like it's jumping. The rice bowls are hearty and flavorful, while sashimi, like oysters, are tender and fresh. The excellent service in a pleasant setting enhances the dining experience, especially with the open view of fresh ingredients. Dining here is a memorable and enjoyable culinary adventure.

If you're a sushi lover in the SGV area, you absolutely must check out this restaurant! The presentation of the dishes here is nothing short of an art form. Each plate is a vibrant palette of colors that's almost too beautiful to eat... almost. The taste? Phenomenal! Each bite is a perfect balance of flavors, freshness, and textures.A standout feature of this restaurant is their unique selection of uni dishes. The uni pasta is creamy and rich, while the uni gyutofu is an innovative dish that pleasantly surprised me with its depth of flavor. However, the real star of the show for me was the A5 wagyu beef sushi. It was simply sublime. The wagyu was melt-in-your-mouth tender. It's a must-try for anyone visiting. Thanks for reading! ^-^

I recommend the sea urchin tofu. The shape is very beautiful. The sea urchin is slightly sweet and has no fishy smell at all. It melts in your mouth. The fat tofu underneath has a solid texture. It is really perfect with the sauce. The sweet shrimps are super fresh, soft, glutinous and sweet in the mouth, embellished with gold foil, and paired with caviar, the sweet and salty flavor explodes in your mouth, so good! The shrimp heads will also help to fry them, making them crispy and fragrant!Wagyu sushi! My friend ordered it, but I was unexpectedly surprised. I always thought the a5 was greasy, but the fat in the wagyu mixed with the sushi rice and sauce was really satisfying to eat. Other sashimi are very fresh, and the seafood udon is surprisingly delicious!

Haven't been to KIYO for a while and they still don't disappoint with their fresh assortment of seafood. Their sashimi always great quality and they even have certified A5 Wagyu beef! I definitely recommend getting the live sweet shrimp and splurge for the uni tofu. Good service and plenty of parking.
