Great food. Warm and friendly staff. Reasonable prices.

It's been a few years since I've been but had some recently and it has changed, and not for the better. My go-to is a chicken pie but the newer ones don't come close to what they used to be. I know owners recently changed hands, is the new owner cutting costs? Idk. All I do know is the pies today simply do not compare to the pies from back in the day. Today the chicken is bland, gravy tastes like flour and even the crust is off. Bring back the old recipe! Or at least sell it to someone who would appreciate it!

The people are friendly, place is clean, family owned. They is food for everyone tastes. Fresh bread and pies. I recommend Moffett's to everyone.

I came here specifically for the chicken pot pie. They did not disappoint, the pie and gravy was amazing. I also had the chance to try the breaded chicken breast and the bacon burger, both of which were great. The taste and the atmosphere really reminded me of American comfort food. I'll definitely come back here.

Avoid tater tots, overly fried and tasted bitter.

I grew up in the Arcadia/Pasadena area and have been eating there pies since the 60's. They have changed locations, owners, and cooking styles. The recipes are not the same throughout the years. But have always been good until now. I passed through about 3 months ago and grabbed 2 dozen pies (white and dark) i freeze them and use them when we don't want to cook.
The are simply not good. Over salted in the extreme, strange chicken meat (tasted completely processed, not just off the bird) not much of the weird meat and so much salty gravy it kind of ruined any possibility of redemption for the pie

Tucked away in the corner of a strip mall. Great vibes,like going to family relatives for breakfast or lunch. You also need to take a family pak of pot pies home to bake. A Must. Moffett's my go to comfort food spot.

It’s such a beautiful environment. The service was attentive very nice. Ohh my goodness the pot pies are soooooo amazing. Felt like telling them chickens from chicken run. This one pie u wanna be and the gravy’s to die for. Lol

This place is nostalgic. Definitely stop if you're in the area. My dad used to work at the racetrack and bring these home when I was a kid. Now I'm coming here with my kids. We don't leave without 12 dozen chicken pot pies with some gravy YUM!! Biscuits and gravy are wonderful hotcakes are just like when I was a kid! Service is always great. It's nice to see a place stay consistent over so many yrs!! So glad the new owner hasn't changed anything. Moffetts is historical to me.
