Courteous service and reliably delicious Hong Kong Cantonese food! Came here to dine in late when all other restaurants were closed. They are known their rice porridge (congee), rice noodles, and boneless chicken. You can make special requests, for example, to change the protein on certain noodle dishes. The server is nice enough to provide a complimentary dessert. They also have a very good selection of Cantonese desserts at the front, with new items added periodically. Just came for some quick dessert but was pleasantly surprised to see that they also serve a bunch of different foods items too. Tried the durian mochi and was impressed by how fresh the durian was. The staff are very friendly and they have a lot of dessert options that are not too sweet.

Don't understand all of the good reviews. All 3 dishes I ordered were totally below average. Panda Express is way better and I don't like Panda that much. Very disappointed. Got the garlic chili shrimp, mongolia beef and garlic chicken wings that looked so unappetizing when I opened the container. The taste was not good either. Ordered thru Ubereats. Never again.

Phoenix Food Boutique has always been our go-to spot for dessert and quick meals, and this visit was no exception. After a long drive back to LA from San Francisco, we stopped by for some comfort food to recharge.

We ordered our usual favorites: Young Chow Fried Rice and Minced String Beans with Pork and Chinese Sausage. Both dishes were absolutely delicious, packed with flavor from the Chinese sausage and BBQ pork. The “wok hei” (breath of the wok) infused each bite with an irresistible depth that made the meal incredibly satisfying.

Of course, no visit to Phoenix Food Boutique is complete without dessert. Our usual choice, the Red Bean Paste and Mango Noodle, was the perfect sweet ending to a hearty meal. Refreshing and delightful, it wrapped up our experience beautifully.

This place never disappoints. We left fully recharged, ready to head home, and sleep well. Highly recommended for anyone craving comforting, flavorful Chinese food and desserts!

Really bad customer service. Always close an hour earlier for dinning in and they will rush you to get out.

Stopped by to get a quick lunch to go. Fried rice and the s+p wings. Price is decent given the portions, taste wise its nothing special. Pretty good. Best part is the parking, lots of adjacent parking if the lot is full which is almost always

"A Nostalgic Return to Arcadia's Chinese Fast-Casual Gem"

Phoenix Food Boutique has long been the go-to spot for quick, quality Chinese cuisine in Arcadia. Returning after years away, I was eager to see if this childhood favorite still lived up to my memories.

"Fast food Chinese with a gourmet twist" perfectly captures the essence of Phoenix Food Boutique. It's not your average takeout joint - the menu boasts an impressive array of small bites, classic dishes, and amazing desserts that elevate it above typical fast-casual fare.

Signature dishes like the Hainan chicken have stood the test of time, consistently delivering flavor and comfort. The lettuce cups, a longtime favorite, didn't disappoint with their tasty filling, though they could benefit from a more interesting sauce than plain hoisin.

The steamed fish with green onions showcases the kitchen's ability to handle delicate proteins, even if the overly sweet soy sauce missed the mark for my palate. However, the true star of the meal was the pig ear appetizer with tendons - a textural delight with the perfect balance of spice, crunch from peanuts, and freshness from green onions.

The atmosphere on a quiet Monday lunch provided a peaceful backdrop for a father-son catch-up. Service was attentive, quickly resolving any oversights like forgotten sauces.

Value-wise, prices have increased over the years, but generous portions and quality ingredients justify the cost. It remains a more affordable option compared to other local eateries.
One area for improvement is their beverage selection. While diverse, many options like the lemongrass ginger tea are too sugar-heavy. Health-conscious diners might struggle to find a balanced choice, as even the 21 herbs tea swings to the opposite extreme of bitterness.

"It's comforting to see this place still exists and maintains its quality," my dad remarked, echoing the sentiments of many loyal customers who've watched Phoenix Food Boutique evolve over the years.

For those seeking a quick Chinese food fix in Arcadia, Phoenix Food Boutique offers a reliable blend of nostalgia and culinary craftsmanship. Just be prepared to navigate the menu carefully if you're watching your sugar intake. For a satisfying meal that bridges the gap between fast food and gourmet Chinese cuisine, this local institution is well worth a visit.

I have been to at least 5 different Phoenix restaurants and this location was the worst one I ever visited. The food was very bland and undercooked and the waiter was rude and unprofessional. I have to remind them of what I ordered many times to not receive my food then to be charged for it. My partner and I felt sick after eating this overpriced food and wouldn’t recommend this location at all.
