I was very disappointed with my visit to the Santa Anita Mall Coffee Bean today around 4:40 PM. I ordered a large iced vanilla latte with an extra espresso shot, but because the cup was filled with ice, only part of my coffee mixture fit. When I politely asked for the remaining portion, the barista and another staff member refused and threw it away, even though I had paid for it. The drink I received was watered down, and I felt dismissed and humiliated as a customer.

It's been a while since I've been to Coffee Bean so when I saw they had a Vietnamese cold brew coffee and a BOGO promotion, I thought it was the perfect time to revisit Coffee Bean. The one in the Arcadia mall was the closest to me and I stopped by during the weekday. The wait wasn't too long to order and to receive my drink. Very helpful employee taking my order too. Unfortunately, that's all that's good with Coffee Bean.

The bad was that:

1) they would not take my reusable tumbler for the coffee (hence why I go to Starbucks for coffee and local mom and pop shops that take my reusable cups for boba)
2) the Vietnamese cold brew coffee was not good at all. Tasted neither like Vietnamese coffee nor cold brew. On my rankings of coffee chains, just barely above Dunkin' and way below Starbucks.

Not sure I'll be back to Coffee Bean anytime soon. I used to order their iced blended drinks all the time in college but now that I can't drink that much grams of sugar in a drink per day, there's nothing drawing me back here. Sorry! =/

LOVE the coffee bean, the service is always great plus they randomly offer coupons on the app.

I went to get a coffe , 2 people working and no other customers. I stood there at least 5 minutes and they wouldn’t even acknowledge me/ — not even “we will be with you in a minute!” I walked away
And still no acknowledgment !! I won’t be going there again😕

I came to this kiosk, very late for a work meeting. The lead barista there, Albert, was so kind to me. They finished my carry-out order of coffee cake in roughly four months. I was ECSTATIC! I had no idea that they made cake. I was shocked as well, as I had actually never placed an order. I simply walked away with a 9 by 7 wheel of steaming hot coffee cake. I'll forever think about that. Please stop here if you're at the mall.

The worst coffee bean I ever been. Cheap workers and charging extra one dollar and not even making a decent drink. Not even full cup

They said they couldn't take cash.

The hot chocolate here is one of the best I try ever. Nice customer service. Rapid service.

I have been buying coffee from coffee bean for a long time. Not anymore I bought $15 worth of drinks and they told me I could have only a very small cup of cream where I like a lot of creamer. Instead of good customer service they were arguing with me and told me to call corporate to complain. This why businesses are going out of business. I’m not buying anything anymore from here. I left pist as hell as well!!!!

I had to wait for the girl to finish her text and sip her drink before I could order. I just stared at her in disbelief. No apology or anything. Unbelievable.

Unbelievably bad service. Ordered a coffee and an ice water. Asked for my water after they gave me the coffee and made we wait for my water. Told me I needed to pay which I already did. Two orders later, I finally got my water. Their attitude were disgusting.

My time at coffee bean in Santa Anita mall was ok. When I ordered my drink I said exactly what I wanted but when I got my drink it was different. I told the worker but she looked at me rudely and did not tell me anything that they can do to help me. She stayed quiet and didn’t assist me with my problem. Overall the service was not the best maybe the worst.

I recently visited while waiting for a car repair. The latte machine happened to be out of order-bummer. So I ordered tea and a muffin. I was told they didn't have plain green tea which I thought was odd. I was given one option-a flavored peach variety which was ok. I later saw on their online menu they did have other green tea varieties. Overall price and service wasn't great.
