The Peacock Cafe at The Arboretum

Didn't expect much of this cafee place which is located in the botanical garden, but the hamburger and fries were actualy good, the grilled chicken sandwich was surprisingly even better!

The Peacock Cafe catering is awesome! They catered for our wedding and we are so happy with how the food turned out. We had also made a special request for agua frescas that they were able to accommodate. They ended up being a hit with guests. Thank you so much Carlos and Ronny for working with us to come up with a great menu and a beautiful reception space!!!

It was not packed yet when I came. There were inside seats with ac on and outside seats where you could eat and watch peacocks roaming around. I decided to sit outside.
These peacocks are used to people around. One time I even met one who was wondering around my seat. I guess someone was trying to feed them although I am not sure. I hope not. It’s not good for them.
I usually ordered the Baldwin grilled cheese sandwich with iced black coffee. It’s not just cheese but also avocado and bacon. With toasted bread it was very delicious.
Peacocks were talking to each others. They were pretty loud but cute.

I spent $175 and some change and when I say that food was the most horrible food I ever ate in my life it was greasy there was no seasoning the meat patty I don’t even know if that was meat The hamburger was the grossest hamburger and that girl was extremely rude at the counter

The food here is on point! My family says they have the best fries in LA. A little on the pricier side, but you can get a discount with a member ship to the Arbouretum. I only take down one star on the atmosphere because occasionally, peacocks come to try to steal food from you while eating outside.
