Some of the best taiwanese restaurant in the 626 area. Food was amazing and authentic. Also the service was really good. I will definitely come back

This isn’t a fancy spot, but it’s a great place in LA if you’re craving authentic Taiwanese cuisine. They had everything I was craving, the oyster omelette and the cold noodles were my favorites. I even grabbed a bento box to go for a late night supper. The prices are definitely higher than what you’d pay in Taiwan, but it’s still a solid choice if you want to enjoy a taste of Taiwan without hopping on a plane. Also, I don’t think they accept cards.

Craving Fried Stinky Tofu this is the best place around town, delicious 10 piece deep fried tofu with a tasty strong dipping sauce and side of pickled cabbage! $12 after taxes and the size of Tofu is reasonable for the price, support this local small business help keep it alive!

Nothing good to say about this place. The lights were off and the door was open like a typical cheap Chinese restaurant. Portions were extremely small for the price. Water cup had some nasty stuff inside and they don't have ice. After I was done with my food, I noticed a large crack in the bowl that travels through the opposite side. Probably harbors a ton of bacteria inside. Found a clump of noodles that were left uncooked. Cash only as well. Stay very far away!

Never been turned away by a business before...

This place is very over priced (even post covid) for small portions and average food. An average beef Noodle is 20.99! I can get much better at any other nearby restaurants. The popcorn chicken was over fried, and the fried pork chop tasted like pure lard.
Service is near non existent, the owner looks annoyed that you would even dare to ask for something.
No water at all, is that even possible? What's wrong with their tap water supply?
I love stinky tofu, but I would not come back here.
I am shocked it's still in business. Needs to go or be revamped.

The price is extremely unreasonable. Other tofu house have a lower price for same things. They are essentially ripping customers off. Finally, he only accepted cash or Zelle pay. The total came to nearly 60 dollars, and they wouldn’t let me pay by card, it is really unacceptable. I can not understand why this restaurant is not collapse.

Dishes are delicious. Foods are fresh with authentic Taiwanese flavors! Homemade ingredients. Owners are kind and friendly.

When you ask for the water, the owner will response you with “ we don't sever water here, we only sell “ drinks” “ . What a most stingy restaurant Owner!!!

One of the best authentic Taiwanese styled Stinking Tofu!

Let me start with the conclusion: It tastes terrible. It is the worst restaurant I have ever eaten in my life.

Here are the detailed instructions:

1. Stinky Tofu
- The stinky tofu was fried too dry and had no moisture at all.
-Kimchi is not sour enough

2. Salty crispy chicken chop rice
-The chicken steak is very spicy
- The rice was a little hard and the braised pork was not fragrant either.
- There are actually frozen tri-color beans

If you think it tastes good, please go to Taiwan to eat and see truly delicious Taiwanese food.

Ordered a salt and pepper chicken, food is good but obviously over priced.

The portion is too small, the taste is average and the price is not cheap!
