The food was pretty good. We wished there were more vegetable sides. The salad we had was good, but we were advised to share and it was too small for really sharing.
A bit too trendy, but warm staff and functional restaurant. The entire place smelled like kitchen mats though. I’m sure that isn’t the case all the time. Would go again.

Great service, super warm and wonderful atmosphere. The food though…
Our food had absolutely no flavor. I’m serious. There wasn’t even the memory of salt on my steak. The pistachio crusted lamb was just… not it. It came with a side of couscous that was essentially just boiled with no seasoning.
We were super sad we spent so much money on such a mediocre meal.

Our experience was alright. The deviled eggs were good, nicely presented. The cheese board was also delicious. The timing on dinner was a fail. My husband and I got our entree and my son had to wait about 10-15 minutes. We were pretty much done eating by the time he got his food. A bit pricey too.

Rude, horrendous service. Waited 10 min to even get water. Almost an hour for appetizers. When I asked the wait staff when the food was coming she rudely said the kitchen was very busy and it would be out when it was ready. Steak was stone cold and staff argued with us that it was fine. 4 people at the table tasted the steak and it was not even room temperature!!
Horrible, rude service save your money avoid this awful place.

Excellent food. They gave me an empty plate with a candle on it for my birthday. Just don’t bring me anything next time - that would be better

The food was yummy but it was way too tiny !! And the wait was excruciating for not having bread or something 😅 maybe I'm just cheap? Dont wanna go again. I had the crispy duck and mochi and was still hungry after
Not bad, but for all the chatter my expectations were high. Some items served were just inedible. The duck was cooked perfectly though crispy mushrooms were a mistake and the gnocchi was hard and dry to the center.
The scent was wet wood meets raw meat which didn't appeal to me. The kitchen area is stunning. The decor is woodsy but a bit unfinished.
The steak was good... great sear, but should have rested before plating and though slightly undercooked it had good flavor. Side of polenta had a lot of potential, but the cheese to polenta ratio was way off. The French onion soup lacked umami ...needed more onions and less cheese (I love cheese, but it was overwhelming. The radicchio salad was perfectly partnered with fresh fennel.... But it was supposed to have been a roasted radicchio, our radicchio never saw a flame and that was a shame. At the price paid, I expected a lot better than what was served.

140.00 meal. Rib eye and new yorker dint have any tast to them. I don't think they seasoned the stakes at all. Very disappointing!💯

Came here for our 2nd anniversary on a Monday night. Reservations are recommended because this place does get busy at night. The atmosphere in this place is pretty nice, doesn't give you a fancy vibe but a place where you can chit chat, throw a little curse words here and there without feeling judged. Our server was very accommodating, she did have a coughing fit, and had to leave for some water. But she promptly, without a skip in her beat, took our orders and sent our food and drinks over. We ordered two ribeyes which were good, however, they were both slightly undercooked. That's fine and my GF and I don't mind undercooked steak which was dipped into some lovely chimicurri. We did have a pickled beet and fennel salad before the steak and this is where this place looses 2 stars. The salad was 17 dollars, so I thought, this salad is going to be out of this world. It was a disappointment to say the least. The salad was comprised of 3 thinly sliced beet roots, and 3 thinly sliced fennel roots laid on top of a bed of "escarole", another fancy word for romaine lettuce and sprinkled with some fancy pepita seeds, aka, shell-less pumpkin seeds. The salad was dressed with an avocado dressing that didn't pair well with the vegetables and tasted bland and bitter. 17 dollars for a disappointment is worth way too much. That salad would've cost atleast 5-6 dollars at an Olive garden. Atleast make the salad worth eating if you're price point is 17 dollars. Other than that, the steaks are worth it? Make sure they cook it to temp. If you care about having the exact temp you requested, about 20 minutes north, there's a little town called Trinidad, that serves a 45 dollar steak meal, that is cooked to perfection. But def give this place a try after a long hike in the redwood forests. It's pretty good.

Waited 1.5hrs for a waste of a steak! Overcooked and no flavor! Ran out of rib-eyes and forced us to get a much more expensive steak, because it was all that was left! Way too slow!!! Also didn’t help that we were the only Hispanics in the restaurant! Don’t waste your time, Not worth the wait!
