The saunas and hot tubs are almost a weekly ritual for us. I am so thankful for a place like this on the Humboldt Coast. Just smelling cedar now makes me wish I was in a cozy sauna room or in the cafe drinking a hot mocha. This is one of my favorite places in Arcata.
We love the saunas here, and always leave happy. Staff is chill and friendly, coffee is good, saunas are well maintained, but I can't speak for the hot tubs. Priced reasonably, given it's a unique experience around here but they don't offer group rates. Maximum number of adults is 6, which would fit fine in the sauna itself, although only 3-4 fit comfortably in the dressing room. They do have towels to rent, but you can just come prepared. Incredible experience, every time. Hottubs and Cafe are like scheduling a mini vacation, and I've heard great things about the sauna as well. Great staff, beautiful set up. Highly recommend to both visitors in the area and locals, but keep in mind you need to schedule an appointment at least a day in advance.
