There is no finer tap house I've ever visited. The beers, the music, the pinball, and the kind kilt-wearing owner, all amazing. And bring-your-own-food is a plus, not a minus IMO.
If you want a place with a kitchen, plush chairs, and canned music, please keep walking - this is not the vibe for you.

Dead Reckoning Tavern is a popular spot for beer enthusiasts, offering an extensive tap list with something for everyone, including ciders and packaged libations. The open area is comfortable and features pinball games, an arcade game, and a record player for actual music. While there is no food available, the atmosphere is welcoming with a small outdoor area for dogs. The bartender is known for his dry and straightforward style, adding to the unique vibe. With reasonable prices and a great selection of beers, including Pliny the Elder and Andechs from Germany, Dead Reckoning Tavern is a must-visit spot for a unique and enjoyable experience. The tavern boasts an unbelievable array of beers and stouts from all over the world, and the pinball machines add to the fun energy. This isn’t a dark and quiet corner to drink—expect a lively atmosphere with vinyl records cranking. A favorite spot for picky visitors who love good energy and top-notch beers.
