“A local must visit - We always bring guests from out of town here and it’s a fun place for a quick bite - Excellent bagels, including gluten free, Great salads, soups, breads and other baked goods. Slug slime and Larrupin’s dressing are household staples in Humboldt!“
“I had been a customer here for years, and at one point, a regular.I returned for the first time in a while and the food was even better than I remember!Chicken mole, chipotle chicken and Super Carne asada burritos ate my go to, and will often get the quesadilla wrapped versions of the 3 aforementioned burritos.Next visit, I'm going to try the Buffalo chicken burrito. The owners are amazing people!! I highly recommend.“
“Great location off the highway, easy access. Dutch Bros coffee never disappoints; their Cold Brew is lovely. The service was excellent. The layout of the drive-in is rather intimidating for the first visit but easy to grasp. I'll be sure to stop by any time I'm in Arcata and in need of caffeine. I recommend you do the same.“
“Awesome ! Stopped in from out of town after I saw other reviews. Staff is exceptional! I was being gutsy and trying something new and I didn’t like. Waitress was a doll and made me something else! Local food local community board. ? Arcata local breakfast! We will return!“
“The owners of Dead Reck are so awesome, they frequent the store I work at which is how I found out about this place. They create an awesome and welcoming environment in the bar and right next store they have a little shop if you just want a can for home!“
“Note to management: a Monday holiday is going to bring out the crowds, like families with kids. Staff appropriately. The staff were shorthanded on MLK day and were putting up a heroic effort to keep us all fed and caffeinated. Where was management? Cortados hare my go-to here, and they have A2 milk so I can have milk! My companions usually go for the creatively flavored lattes which they seem happy with. Interesting selection of cookies/pastries haven't disappointed. Food is also good, like the salmon toast. I think they bake their own bread and bagels too, though I didn't see the latter. The breakfast sandwich is my staple. And here there was a problem. It was always served on a delicious brioche, but this time on a store bought English muffin. Why? Maybe the bakers are on vacation? I make a similar sandwich and this was, sadly, not better than mine.“
“We've lived in nearby Santa Rosa for 10 years and this is the first time we've visited this nice little restaurant. The fault is ours; not the restaurant's. We had a delightful breakfast, pancakes with a side of bacon for me; an omelet for wife. BIG servings! Delicious. My pancakes were plate-sized. Wife said her omelet was delicious but next time she'd order the one-egg version. The oven fried potatoes were enough for two meals. (I took what she couldn't eat for tomorrow's breakfast.) The only downside was a bill for $48, for the two dishes a coffee and an espresso. Kinda pricy..“
“Back in college this was my favorite place to get a sandwich. The avocado and cheese on a brio roll would easily make two meals for me. I always stop in for one when I happen to make it back to Humboldt. When I’m not in Humboldt I sadly just dream about having a good sandwich since I’ve yet to find one anywhere in Colorado Springs. It might be time for another trip there soon.“
“I moved away and there's only one Mexican restaurant in this tiny little town and it's really made me appreciate Fiesta Grill, not everyone can make good Mexican food. I used to eat at Fiesta Grill all the time. They make the best Mexican food I've ever had anywhere. Those little Mexican ribs in the sauce are delicious, they make a really good clamato,I love their bar.I would pay them to come up here where I'm at and teach our Mexican restaurant how to cook.“
“Really nice place to grab a coffee, sweet treat or lunch. High-quality, organic and local ingredients, served fresh, great flavor, the real deal. The coffee was fresh, soups were served hot, flaky croissants. Also, the location is beautiful, right on the town center/green. I would definitely come back and try more menu items.“
“It was amazing, I got a booth to myself (favorite seating), got to watch my shows on my phone while eating without being disturbed, and the staff was really nice. The only downside is accidentally bumping into people because they don't have a system for going down lines and people just squeeze in next to you for food. And I'm just not used to it and over apologized to the people bumping me and cutting me off while walking and stuff. I would recommend this place for price, noise level, parking, and good food & staff. You just have to go in there like you are about to Sumo Wrestle ?Vegetarian options: The have fruit, vegetarian sushi, roasted veggies and sometimes a vegetarian soup or two. I wouldn't recommend to vegetarians really unless they really like Chinese American veggie dishes, and even then, there was maybe 3 when I visited.Parking: It's a shopping center with a central parking lot, so plenty of parking, just not by the door of the restaurant. Which I never found an issue with. Just be wary of homeless people asking for money as you go in and leave.Kid-friendliness: Apart from homeless people being outside the restaurant, I would say this place is super kid friendly. You just need to make sure to have somewhat of a wrangle on the kid they'll do fine. I've bumped into more disrespectful adults than kids. They have a lot of fruit options and some veggie options, and they have jello, pudding and a self serve ice cream machine.“
“This is a very nice small restaurant. The menu is a bit small, so if you feel you have a restricted pallet, maybe check the menu, but the coffee is amazing!Parking: It's street side parking unless you want to walk from the plaza, not ideal.“
