I really love this place. I tried something new, Pambozos, a torta sandwich dipped in some type of chile sauce, stuffed with tinga and all the regulars fixings. It was absolutely wonderful.The service was a bit slow, but understandably. Our party of 10 was one of five birthday parties at dinner! So, with that considered, they did well.Oddly, they have a 15% gratuity policy for parties of 8 or more, yet actually charge 18%. I tip 20%+, so it didn't affect my budget. They have in house made chips with great salsa for starters and a lot of options, which can be a little overwhelming. Dinner plates and combination plates are good deals and you get a lot of food that tastes great. They make their own tortillas as well, big and delicious, especially the flour ones!

Delicious food, good portions, fast, great service, different environment, their horchata is favorite one in North Humboldt. I went one time and they had a private show going on and I got to experience a Ska Mariachi band. That was definitely a highlight. We still talk about it
