“My aunt was raving about this place for 2 years before I finally agreed to go try it with her. It is now my new favorite! Every dish I have tried is so fresh, so packed with flavor, I am humming while I eat. The owner is so full of love that this place makes you vibrate higher when you leave. I recommend you sit out back overlooking the King Salmon canal water, and feel the peace while you fill your belly. This place rocks, don't miss it!“

It was a special anniversary date night. - and this place was amazing. Yes, crab fat wings appetizer are a must -& we shared a nightly special of lamb chops, accompanied by delightful blue cheese mashed potatoes, & tasty, asparagus, cooked to perfect perfection. We topped it off with the most delicious creamy decadent dessert of a white chocolate crème brûlée that we have ever tasted! Will definitely be back and are highly recommending this place! “Unfortunately, there are very few cafes with a nice atmosphere, friendly service, and above all, great tasting food and coffee anymore. Familia has all of these things. My breakfast sandwich was really delicious, and my latte was just as good. I didn’t feel like I was bothering the staff with my presence, and the music was great. Plus it’s a great spot for people watching and the interior is so pretty.“

It's got a great map showing locations of people from around the world that have visited (that's cool), but the map shows age with dust dripping from the pins.“

So when we made it official to move to Humboldt County we went to this bar. And oh boy was the worker next door wrong. I don’t know what he considers ghetto, but this bar is definitely not ghetto!“

“This place is run by two of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. They are so doting, very kind, and generous! But the food is fantastic. We recommend the honey walnut shrimp and the egg drop soup. The wonton soup has a lovely ginger flavor, and their hot tea comes perfectly steeped already!“
