“What a night! On vacation in Eureka, we asked a local at the dog park for a dining recommendation. Our server was Jake, and he performed quite well. Old Town Eureka was prepped for the Christmas walk, parking was free, and it was unseasonably warm.
Polenta crostini.
Arancini stuffed with butternut squash risotto.
Brussels sprouts.
Wood-fired hen with fingerling potatoes.
Grilled steelhead with lobster risotto.
Chocolate torte with s’mores topping.
My lady enjoyed the prosecco, and I the Lagunitas IPN/A.“

“The service and food were both excellent this evening! I was especially looking forward to a good ribeye steak, unfortunately due to a shipment mixup there were no ribeye. However, they upgraded my dinner to a mouth-watering filet at no charge. Needless to say, I was not disappointed! We also got the rack of lamb and the table-side ceaser salad. Everything was excellent, and I can't wait to come here again!“

“The seafood options in Eureka have no bounds, I think there might be 1 seafood restaurant for every 3 people!
So when Lucky Lucy the one armed Rigger down at the waterfront told me she always goes to the Diver Bar & Grill for her seafood fix ..I was all in! I would have thought for sure she'd have picked the Muff Divers Club, that all girls club down on Lesbonia Avenue as her favorite fish house! Man-O-Man, let me just describe the Salmon Sandwich from the Diver Bar & Grill in 1 word....Spectacular! 5 ☆☆☆☆☆“

“I had a grilled hot dog and fries and then a ice cream cone for dessert. This is an old style hamburger stand with pictures and models of old cars on the walls. They are great entertainment for kids and adult kids that still like old cars. There is both indoor and outdooe seatng. There is a full selection of frozen treats from cones and sundaes. The banana split looked real tempting. I am planning another visit on my next trip to Eureka.“

“the quality of the locally sourced food is impressive. I am lucky enough to work at Cafe Nooners. I have never experienced a more positive work environment nor felt as welcome as I have here since day one. There's good reason this Cafe has been so successful for so long. The tri-tip sandwich is my favorite, but I find I enjoy their vegan dishes almost as much. Try the chocolate chip cookies made fresh from scratch!“

“Really nice place to pull over for a meal on our last leg of a drive.
Deanna was great! Very friendly and upbeat.
We had the Wonton Tacos (yum) and I had the Oriental Chicken Salad served with a delicious bread stick.
I took a pic of silly art in the bathroom, it made me giggle.“

“Stopped by IHOP in Eureka for breakfast and had a solid experience. The menu offers a wide variety of pancakes, omelets, and classic American breakfast dishes. I tried a stack of pancakes and they were fluffy and well cooked, paired with syrup and fresh fruit on the side. Portions are generous and the prices are reasonable.
The restaurant was clean, the staff was friendly, and service was fairly quick even during a busy morning. It’s a reliable option for a casual breakfast or brunch.“
