“This place is great! My wife and I had the BBQ and Mushroom-Swiss burgers tonight and both were absolutely delicious...excellent toppings and juicy, HUGE, massive hand- formed patties. The fries were nice and crispy, but the best part about them is the home-made fry sauce. Ask for the recipe; they will happily give it out rather than having to keep buying squeeze bottles because people keep walking out with the fry sauce bottles (it really is that good). The vibe is straight-up fun small-town logger dive bar like I spent many young adult nights in (other reviewers have pictures that kind of capture it) and the three ladies running the joint tonight were great. If I'm ever back this way again this will definitely be a 'must stop' on the itinerary...Parking: If you are staying at the Casino/Holiday Inn Express, it's a short walk“
“Open Sunday nights for dinner. Most others are not open Sunday nights. Power was out everywhere but Forest cafe had a back up generator to keep the restaurant open. Great service and very cool place to eat. Food was good and priced right. Thanks Burkholder’s from MN“
“The Redwood Bloody Mary was amazing. So many delicious goodies in the tasty drink! My husband and I split the bison burger, it was THE best burger I've had in years! Wait staff was very friendly. We are vacationing in Crescent City and most definitely will go back before we leave.“
“Great diner with breakfast food cooked to perfection. The staff was very friendly and so nice as to tell us about the area. Our server even helped me jump start our car when we accidentally left the lights on and drained the battery. I can't say enough nice things.“
