“Those of us who like to see a variety of flavors will like Sweet Spot. Not only do they do cones, cups, shakes, red bull infusions and other beverages, they also have a mini arcade room. Chairs and tables indoors for small functions like pizza parties or birthday parties. I love the flavors, waffle cone, chocolate peanut butter, birthday cake, and now, cotton candy!! And the cotton candy isn't a heavy sugary but instead a smooth creamy delight. Drop by and experience the various contents that will leave your inner child smiling.“

“The place was busy, but plenty of tables to choose from. Staff were friendly and service was quick. The food was AMAZING! Crispy fries with the citrus salt were we tried the Cuban and the ultimate turkey club. Both were the best thing we ate this trip! The beer was tasty too. Anyone in the area should give it a try.“

Also the desserts... always great-the raspberry brownies, thumbprint cookies--The vibe is casual and cosy, and the staff are very friendly. They are open for Breakfast and lunch, and dinner on Fri/Sat nights I think (check first).“

“A lovely place near Trinidad beaches. We came here for an early lunch. We had egg scramble and they have many different kinds. Even in veg you have choices. The scrambles tasted great. The service was great and they even accommodated my son's request for fish & chips though they hadn't started lunch yet. Will definitely go back to this place if I pass Trinidad.“

“We went for our ten year anniversary tonight. The food was super delicious and Zach our server was helpful, nice and friendly. Atmosphere is pretty and nice but chill. We will definitely go back for unami butter oysters and the chimichurri butter oysters. Also the candied bacon, and filet mignon. Decent wine selection as well, splendid!Wheelchair accessibility: Bathroom was wheelchair friendly and so was the entire restaurant“

“This place is great for a quick bite to eat that is tasty and affordable. We stop here when we visit friends in the area and love that we can come 24 hours a day. The shakes are super thick (need bigger straws!) and are yummy. We enjoy the treats and the hot dogs and the sandwiches.“

“We discovered a new favorite restaurant called The Kitchen in Arcata! If you are ever in the area it is the place to go especially if you enjoy great food! We were welcomed warmly upon arrival. The food was exceptionally delicious - fresh, flavorful and beautifully prepared. Portions were quite generous and the cost was economical especially given the quality of our meal. The service was attentive without being smothering. Our only regret is that we don’t live close enough to swing by on a weekly basis to enjoy their changing menu.“

“For what it is, definitely the best steak joint in its class. I had, two steaks there on two separate occasions. Absolutely fantastic, and I worked at Ruth's Chris... If you are looking for good steak, without the markup of a fancy atmosphere. This is it.... Also do yourself a solid, try to gorgonzola butter...Five stars in all categories take into consideration the type of place this is... This is not an upscale spot, this is a dive, with better steaks than most upscale joints I've been to.“

“I remember the old pantry that used to be in place of peppers, and it was one of the best breakfast places around, but Peppers has stepped it up a notch. The menu is amazing and their food is great quality. I highly recommend a visit.Dietary restrictions: I bet if you can't already find a dish to suit whatever restriction you have that the staff will be able to amend to any degree.“

“Cool spot sight down by the pier where the catch comes in. We arrived at a really busy time and the staff was super nice. There is a little beach cove where we could entertain the kids while we waited. Food was good and service was very fast.“

“We loved this place so much we went here twice during our stay in Trinidad. I had the mashed potato waffle cone and the crab melt. Both were delicious, but my favorite was the potato. What a great idea! Hubs ate the burger and crispy chicken sandwich and gave a 10/10 for the chicken. Truly amazing food, nice restaurant with heaters (we needed them after kayaking in April!) and cool art on the ceiling and walls, and delicious local beer. Would love to come back again, sad that we live on the other side of the US and getting to Trinidad is quite a trek for us. Glad we made it out and got a chance to eat here and support the locals a bit.“

“Beautiful newly renovated hotel. Easy check in, great service and very clean. Traveling as a single woman I felt safe and comfortable. The team is amazing and helpful. The casino has a good variety of restaurants and every restaurant I ate at was very good, reasonably priced with big portions.“

“We always have the best service whenever we eat here! I just recently discovered I have a gluten intolerance, and it has made going out to eat more difficult. Lost Coast has gluten free buns from Arise Bakery, and they were really decent as far as GF bread goes. I was so psyched to be able to eat a burger again!! And the cherry cider is so good. We ate at the bar and the bartender Marcus was phenomenal.“
