“We went for our ten year anniversary tonight. The food was super delicious and Zach our server was helpful, nice and friendly. Atmosphere is pretty and nice but chill. We will definitely go back for unami butter oysters and the chimichurri butter oysters. Also the candied bacon, and filet mignon. “We discovered a new favorite restaurant called The Kitchen in Arcata! If you are ever in the area it is the place to go especially if you enjoy great food! We were welcomed warmly upon arrival. The food was exceptionally delicious - fresh, flavorful and beautifully prepared. Portions were quite generous and the cost was economical especially given the quality of our meal. The service was attentive without being smothering. Our only regret is that we don’t live close enough to swing by on a weekly basis to enjoy their changing menu.“
“Love Toni's. It is a charming unique restaurant full of locals who love it and a staff who care about making solid comfort food. You order at the counter, from the extensive menu on the wall, and then sit wherever you want in the many different comfortable spots. The atmosphere is so inviting, everyone seems to know each and yet, many included us in their conversations. On top of the "you are already family" feel, the food was outstanding too. Lots of typical diner food choices to pick from and breakfast all day. The milkshakes are all the rave and live up to the hype. I tried the "chicken pot pie soup" and it was literally like having gramma's chicken pot pie in a bowl. Delicious. The cheese loaded tater tots, suggested by a local, were perfectly crispy while also covered in warm real cheese. How they achieved this without soggy tater tots is surely magic. The turkey club was massive and the rye bread delicious. The homemade pies and gorgeous baked-goods are super tempting beckoning from their attractive displays. The service was prompt and friendly. Definitely glad we stopped at Toni's and discovered this gem of a local restaurant.“

“I really love this place. I tried something new, Pambozos, a torta sandwich dipped in some type of chile sauce, stuffed with tinga and all the regulars fixings. It was absolutely wonderful.The service was a bit slow, but understandably. Our party of 10 was one of five birthday parties at dinner! So, with that considered, they did well.Oddly, they have a 15% gratuity policy for parties of 8 or more, yet actually charge 18%. I tip 20%+, so it didn't affect my budget. But, come on. Say what you do and do what you say.“
“Really nice place to grab a coffee, sweet treat or lunch. High-quality, organic and local ingredients, served fresh, great flavor, the real deal. The coffee was fresh, soups were served hot, flaky croissants. Also, the location is beautiful, right on the town center/green. I would definitely come back and try more menu items.“

The menu is amazing and their food is great quality. “The place was busy, but plenty of tables to choose from. Staff were friendly and service was quick. The food was AMAZING! Crispy fries with the citrus salt were we tried the Cuban and the ultimate turkey club. Both were the best thing we ate this trip! The beer was tasty too. Anyone in the area should give it a try.“
