“This is our favorite (dare I say only?) hard cider taproom in Eureka. They recently upgraded their outdoor seating area and on a fair day it’s a wonderful space to enjoy. Otherwise we either belly up to the bar or grab a table and try to play cribbage. I only say try because most decks are made up of 32 cards and theirs have definitely been played with by kids. They have varying food trucks that park right up front, you can call and ask or check out the socials to see what eats are available on what days, I only have 4stars for the reason that with food trucks it’s hit n miss. They even have a private event room for your special occasions. We usually spend about one pints worth of time there, then take our growlers home to enjoy safely. Rain or shine this is a wonderful spot to hang out for a bit. The ciders are crisp, varying, full of flavor and the service is always with a smile. Furry friends are welcome, just not on the fake grass by the outdoor seating area.“

“Left a birthday party over at Flips for Kids to have a celebratory brew. Redwood Curtain beer never disappoints! Pour staff we're very friendly and let us sample a taste or two before we decided on our final pints. They pour in a 20 oz pint glass so you get a full pint of beer!“

“This place is SO tasty, my goodness! I work down the street, so I probably go here MORE than once a month, and my gosh. There hasn’t been one thing I have tried that I don’t like. The servers are always so kind, and I generally have a ton of questions when I go out to eat because I have a Gluten intolerance. I’ve always been able to find a ton of options, and overall, I love The Hood! Yum yum!“

“I got takeout tonight and ordered a carnita sope with red sauce, it was delicious and spicy. I tried the chilaquiles with the green salsa on a recommendation, and I was delighted with how good it was. I had never had chilaquiles before and now I can add that to my list of tasty good eats to order from my favorite Arcata restaurant. Thank you The Border Table (and Johanna for the recommendation!)“

“Stopped in for a beer 🍻 and Bigfoot Taproom has a great selection. Sampled a couple that I would not typically drink but really liked them. The food options out back good. Will be back to try that next time. Friendly atmosphere and dog friendly :)“

“They played our wedding and rocked it!!!! The band members all were very respectful and professional. The music they focused on playing was a lot of songs that my Bride and I requested, they learned and NAILED everyone of them. Their genre was non existent, they play EVERYTHING! It was unbelievable! They are a must see group!“
