“Awesome ! Stopped in from out of town after I saw other reviews. Staff is exceptional! I was being gutsy and trying something new and I didn’t like. Waitress was a doll and made me something else! Local food local community board. ? Arcata local breakfast! We will return!“
“What I Love about this library is that you can reap the benefits of various resources especially if you're at HSU student or alumni. For instance you can rent out books, articles or scientific periodicals from other California state universities and I was told also order from international Universities. The benefit of being a grad school is that you can have books up to one year until return date is due and rent out their cam corders and camera for an extended period of time . I started off at this school in 2017 and I definitely have seen many renovations through the years including the café, study rooms, tall shelving and interactive group desks, where group members can meet an use a TV to connect to class projects or the Internet. Till this day the library still has a glass case where they display a wide assortment of clubs, issues and events on campus, with nice added touches of regalia/memorabilia! I highly appreciate the fact that this library recycles electronics this can be found at the exit of the library in the main entrance.“
“Customer service and public relations are at an all time high. Molly runs the show so there’s that. She’s my fav hands down. Stay away from Dutch Bros, she can see ya! But seriously, Riptide and the personnel are my go to coffee drive thru peoples. Love n aloha always!!!“
“Note to management: a Monday holiday is going to bring out the crowds, like families with kids. Staff appropriately. The staff were shorthanded on MLK day and were putting up a heroic effort to keep us all fed and caffeinated. Where was management? Cortados hare my go-to here, and they have A2 milk so I can have milk! My companions usually go for the creatively flavored lattes which they seem happy with. Interesting selection of cookies/pastries haven't disappointed. Food is also good, like the salmon toast. I think they bake their own bread and bagels too, though I didn't see the latter. The breakfast sandwich is my staple. And here there was a problem. It was always served on a delicious brioche, but this time on a store bought English muffin. Why? Maybe the bakers are on vacation? I make a similar sandwich and this was, sadly, not better than mine.“
“We've lived in nearby Santa Rosa for 10 years and this is the first time we've visited this nice little restaurant. The fault is ours; not the restaurant's. We had a delightful breakfast, pancakes with a side of bacon for me; an omelet for wife. BIG servings! Delicious. My pancakes were plate-sized. Wife said her omelet was delicious but next time she'd order the one-egg version. The oven fried potatoes were enough for two meals. (I took what she couldn't eat for tomorrow's breakfast.) The only downside was a bill for $48, for the two dishes a coffee and an espresso. Kinda pricy..“
“The best breakfast we have had in quite some time. There were 3 of us, from out of town, visiting our niece & grand niece, and this restaurant was recommended. Absolutely did NOT disappoint.Highly recommended!!!Vegetarian options: Veg bacon.“
“My husband and I visited Jitter Bean Coffee Co at the end of August. We're actually from Van Buren, AR! He was adamant about visiting this local coffee chain. We both ordered an iced white mocha! I thought that it was good. The inside of the building was clean and had a little seating space. It had big windows with a great view Arcata Square. If I was a student at the local university, I would consider studying there! I thought that the staff were friendly and that they finished our order promptly. I think it is a great place to get an afternoon ice coffee - - - that is what we did!“
“Really nice place to grab a coffee, sweet treat or lunch. High-quality, organic and local ingredients, served fresh, great flavor, the real deal. The coffee was fresh, soups were served hot, flaky croissants. Also, the location is beautiful, right on the town center/green. I would definitely come back and try more menu items.“
“Hey there! ? Had an amazing time at Sweet Green Juice Bar with the fam! Fresh juice, delicious salads/bowls, and friendly staff made our visit delightful. So grateful for this awesome health food spot right here in beautiful downtown Eureka! ?“
“Local lox toast on sourdough was so beautiful and delicious and my maple spiced latte was so good made with local roasted beans. Highly recommend! Inside area was in a beautiful old hotel.Vegetarian options: Plenty of savory and sweet handheld and full entree items“
“Love this gem of a restaurant- the folks who run it clearly pour love into it and treat their employees well and it shows in the quality of the food, the atmosphere and the overall feeling of community they help foster. So glad they exist- the frittata is amazing and the baked goods are out of this world! Just had a walnut honey twist soooooo good!Only wish - that they used A2 milk- low pasteurized local milk- like Alexander“
“I have ordered cakes here a couple times and the customer service is always outstanding! Friendly, prompt, great interaction!! I had ordered a cake and I was running late to pick it up, I felt so bad! I called and told them I’d be there right at closing and they said no worries we got you. They could not have been nicer about it! The cakes there are soo soo good. I will only get my cake from them now! ?“
“Traveling found this gem. Husband and I both got sandwiches. You get what you pay for. It’s no small sandwich. Fresh sliced meats and fresh made rolls. We would recommend. We liked them so much on the way back through the area we had to stop for another sandwich.“
“We stopped in here for a couple bagels during our walk through Old Town Eureka. We wanted to try their bagels which were supposed to be pretty good. We spent years in the New York area as bagel bakers so we are very critical of what people call a bagel. We tried one while we were in the store and it certainly made our mouth happy. They had a decent chew to them like a bagel should and didnt look or taste like a roll with a hole other bagels shops pass off as a NY bagel. Well worth the stop. Great variety of flavors and many other goodies and offerings in the store to eat. The staff was super nice and we really enjoyed talking to them. If you are visiting Eureka make this place a definite stop for a snack, breakfast or lunch.“
