Literally one of the most hated restaurants I've been to in Arcata. Food is simple, hella convenient, still relatively fresh, and they use sustainable materials. Sushis Bomb, the Katsu is my fav. Their atmosphere is a mood and a half, and the staff are always super friendly and gracious. Thank you for the meal! Itadakimasuuuu

Most of their food is grab and go. If you are a college student needing quick food, it will do. If you're looking for good bento boxes, you will be disappointed to find that they're all in a hot case. If I wanted a salmon bento box, I would expect that to be cooked to order and not on a hot case for an undetermined amount of time.
Also their spicy tuna roll was a California roll with slivers of tuna on top.
If you're out of town visiting, I recommend visiting any other sushi joint than visiting this place.

Amazing restaurant! One of my favorites. The sushi is fresh, the vibes are right, and the staff couldn’t be friendlier.
Soo bomb!! Quick and easy, they had everything hot and fresh when I walked in. I got the Spicy Tuna roll, chicken karaage, and angry edamame. That edamame spice is no joke! Had to cool it down with a Thai Tea 😋 Thanks!

Absolutely phenomenal! O Bento is hands-down one of the best culinary gems in Humboldt County. From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with warm hospitality and a sense that this place really cares about quality — not just in food, but in service and vibe too.
The bento boxes are beautifully presented and bursting with flavor — fresh, balanced, and thoughtfully crafted. The karaage chicken is crispy perfection, the salmon is buttery and tender, and the pickled veggies and sauces elevate everything. You can taste the love and precision in every bite.
What really sets O Bento apart is the commitment to ingredients. Everything feels clean, wholesome, and nourishing without sacrificing an ounce of flavor. It’s the kind of spot that leaves you satisfied but energized, which is rare.
If you’re passing through Humboldt or lucky enough to live nearby, this place is a must-visit. Easily one of my favorite meals in Northern California. Can’t wait to come back.

Although perfect for me... There weren't a lot of people here... It was prolly the time of day restaurants are always slow this time of day. Food, great, veggie roll. Also tempura prawns... Excited to see this style of dining in the states and in the community...
