We came here for dinner during our road trip to the area. Tried the shrimp tempura, edamame, lemon salmon sashimi, salmon donburi (new seasonal) and the Alaskan sushi. The sushi, donburi and tempura were great.
Sushi Spot never disappoints! The staff are attentive and knowledgeable about all things sushi. The menu has a wide selection of delicious sushi rolls with every possible filling you could imagine. There are six or seven different types of vegetarian rolls, and the miso soup can be ordered vegetarian, as well! The best part about our last visit to Sushi Spot is that the chef was willing to make us a special dessert roll with sweet egg, strawberry, macadamia nuts, and a strawberry...
Got the tofu teriyaki and it was just tofu along side white rice. Not much sauce at all and no vegetables or anything else. Veggie sushi was ok but a little skimpy on the ingredients not much flavor, and there was no wasabi or soy sauce (to go order). They have a vegan option for miso soup, which was not the greatest or the worst. Got the vegetable gyoza. Was soggy and burnt at the same time. All this said, it was still edible and not the worst. Grateful to eat and have vegan...
