I was nervous from the looks outside but the service was great and the food was fresh and delicious. Definitely give it a try. We have not been impressed with any of our restaurant experiences out here except for this place.

Fast service, generous potions of high quality fish in each roll. Good prices for high quality!

This is a small place so go when its off hours especially on holidays. The food is very good!

The fish tasted very fresh and melted in my mouth, buttery. The tempura vegetables were decent, as you would expect but I think there's room for improvement.

The atmosphere is so warm and relaxed and the food is great for a night out with friends. Friendly service, well informed and helpful staff, generous portions, and a cozy dine in experience make this the perfect place for a date or to unwind after work. Highly recommend dinning out here! ❤️❤️

Never felt like I needed to throw up for safey precautions after eating out. Water tasted soapy, pink lady roll was bitter, udon noodle was flavorless, rolls were miniature and fell apart fast, fish was discolored and had a weird texture. All that I can say was that it had a cozy/homey atmosphere and the guy server was OK. Better off going to sushi spot, tomo, nori, Bayfront, rooftop, or even Sushi Blue in blue lake.

4 person meal, we ordered two pots of green tea. They charged 15$ dollars for two small pots. When we brought this up they said oh its 3$/person not per pot. (even with 3$/person we were overcharged). The waitress got very angry and defensive when we brought it up and told us "I gave you a discount". We informed her that even 3$/cup is overcharging and that the sushi restaurant right down the street charges 1$/pot. Inside the pot you can see 1 measly bag of green tea, so regardless of the number of teabags you are actually charged by the number of people drinking the pot, how does that make sense ? Also the tea is not even on the menu so we unknowingly consented to this outrageous price. Regardless of the price of tea, the waitress was very rude, loud, defensive, and confrontational. As we were signing our receipts she came back and broached the subject all over again insisting that it's not her policy it's not her fault and that we can go to the sushi spot next time if we don't like the prices.
My husband and I used to say this was our favorite sushi spot in town. We loved the mom and pop vibe and peaceful environment. This waitress has changed the whole atmosphere. She is loud, inattentive, and rude; the opposite of what a Japanese restaurant normally strives for.

Always great food here. We had a mix up with another restaurant & they let us in last minute. We didn't linger. We were so hungry & ate fast then left but we appreciated everyone for fitting us in! Food was delicious as usual!

Would I eat there again? Yes.

The place looks like a whole in the wall but the food was solid. No complaints on the food at all.
