Two cheese burgers, which were very good, one order of fries, one order of onion rings, also very good, 2 bottles of Coke. With tip: $85. Outrageous, but unfortunately typical of California prices in general. If you don't mind spending close to a hundred bucks for burgers and fries, this is your kind of place.

Four of us came for a late lunch before heading out for some redwoods adventure. The burgers were juicy, the french fries were perfect, and service was lovely. Everyone enjoyed their meal and left satisfied!

Worst burger in Humboldt. I’ve tried giving them a couple tries over the years but every time it’s dry, over cooked, and waaaay too expensive for what it is. All the times I’ve gone in, the place was empty but it still took around 45 mins to get your food and it’s somehow cold. I really dont understand how they are still open with how many other much cheaper and much better options there are up here. So consistently bad, it motivated me to do my first google review

Super cute place and really good food. Burger was a tiny bit dry but I think that could be fixed by asking for the burger to be cooked medium or medium well. Regular fries are good but the waffle fries were great!

Over priced, small, bone dry burgers. The fries were the only redeeming part, and they were more moist than the burger.
I thought I was being petty for deciding after so many disappointments at this establishment that I would never return, but it seems like others too have decided the value proposition just isn't worth it

Went there earlier this evening and they must have changed their veggie patty on the veggie burger and it was awful. Taste and texture is way different then when I first went . The front cashier must be brand new because you can tell he doesn't care one bit . Place has downgraded in my book.

My husband and I visited The Burger Joint at the end of August! Our Airbnb host actually recommended it!! My husband had The Backwood and and I had the Humburger. We also shared some fried pickles! The food was yummy!! The atmosphere was great. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating! I gave the restaurant a 4 star in service because it did take over 30 minutes for us to get our food. I was a little surprised by this! I would also say that the team as nice, but I didn’t experience like a warm welcome! I’m still super happy with our overall experience!! 5 stars!

Me and my wife go and eat here allot , it's usually really good and deserving of the price. Today we went and were saddened to find that our favorite burgers recipe was changed and tasted like burnt garlic and it was on the well side. We alway eat all of our meal but this was un edible. My wife told them and gave the food back with this told to us , that I'm only the cook. I unfortunately will not be returning to my once favorite burger place.
