Went to The Jam while visiting Arcata a couple weeks ago. I'll start by saying the food was pretty good. I had the vegan grilled cheese and my son liked the wings. Now the service, our first server (male) was polite enough, but then he was MIA the rest of our visit. Luckily a nice gal came in for her shift and helped us out. It just seemed more like the employees were hanging out instead of serving customers. Again, when there was interaction, it was pleasant.

Great happy hour drinks. It looked like they weren't serving food. I'm not sure if it's because they don't have a cook, but no one had food, and I wasn't presented with a menu. But if you want a drink with a friend, this isn't a bad place to go.
