I was bro if he here because it’s known as the towns best vegan/vegetarian spot. I saw they had biscuits and gravy which is was super excited about and vegan French toast I also really enjoyed their macaroon and miso caramel latte. The atmosphere was nice and the staff were friendly but the food didn’t hit like I was hoping it would. The biscuits were really dry even with the gravy smothered on them. But I would still try this place again next time.

This is one of the best vegetarian restaurants I’ve been to! Situated in the small town of Arcata it’s right on a busy corner. The food was heavenly! Tried both the Sunrise Immunity Boost Shake and the Carrot Shake. The ingredients were extremely fresh! You do get what you pay for. The Portabella burger was absolutely drool worthy. So flavorful! The Happy Waitress sandwich is vegetarian and very filling. Would highly recommend to all vegans and vegetarians alike! A definite stop if you’re driving through the California coast! Our waitress was helpful and even offered a complimentary sample of their soup of the day while offering!

Felt a bit discriminated against in this establishment. I watched every customer get treated kindly and i was treated in an ill manner but I really wanted vegetarian biscuits and gravy. The lady at the front counter clearly did not like me but I am still a PAYING customer and should be treated with Respect or atleast pretend to be kind i tipped 18%to be treated poorely. She should also make customers aware that a full order is two biscuits so there is no food waste. Gravy very bland. I did not enjoy the food or my experience here! Living close by Sadly I will not come back! Very disappointed I spent money here.

Sorry I used to love this place but the last couple of times I’ve been in, everything has been notably bad. They ran out of basil for my $18 scramble, ran out of fried potatoes and served me essentially boiled potatoes, scrambled eggs, and cold toast. They took the basil off the specials board but didn’t tell me they never put it in my scramble. They had dying flowers in the vase on the table, ran out of napkins, and the staff was running around. Took over 45 minutes after ordering to get my meal. Idk probably better on a less busy day but this was truly bad and not what I’m used to.
