Their team was nothing short of exceptional. From the very beginning, they displayed the utmost professionalism and dedication. They were hard-working, attentive, and true team players, seamlessly collaborating with other vendors to ensure everything went off without a hitch.

The food was an absolute highlight—delicious and beautifully presented, leaving guests raving about every dish. The bar service was equally impressive.

When we decided to do a destination wedding, we knew we wanted an emphasis on food and wine. We wanted our ceremony to have the feel of a great dinner party with excellent food, good wine, and exemplary service. Flora and Fauna did not disappoint. We sampled food with them well before the wedding, gave our ideas and thoughts, and together developed the perfect menu. The food was delicious then, but cooking for large groups is challenging. We were hoping the food come wedding day would be as good as we remembered it. I would argue that it was even better. From the passed appetizers to the large displayed charcuterie board to entrees of flat iron steak and halibut, there was not a weak link. It was all truly delicious. We had multiple comments from family and friends stating that it was the best wedding food they had ever eaten, and that it rivaled some of their favorite restaurants.But more importantly that the food, the service was phenomenal. Courses flowed out to the tables smoothly. The timing was perfect. Everyone was served nearly simultaneously without awkward delays or waiting. There was also someone available to wait on you when you needed it, but without being intrusive or pushy. There were attentive to everyone's needs throughout dinner and very attentive to all of the details. You will be hard pressed to find a combination of food and service this exemplary anywhere, catering company or restaurant. If you enjoy excellent food and even better service, Flora and Fauna is the caterer for you.

Flaura and Fauna is one of my favorite catering places within the wedding industry. They have treated me with nothing but respect and even reach out to offer help when needed. Pleasing everyone isn’t possible, but everyone I’ve talked to about Flaura and Fauna has had nothing but good things to say. Keep up the good work and I can’t wait to work with y’all again!

Flora and Fauna has been a wonderful caterer to us for years, as we host weddings and corporate events. And in this year of Covid, they have worked so hard for so many of our wedding couples moving dates, creating smaller elegant meals for intimate dinners, boxed lunches, and customizing and creating ideas—they are super positive and compassionate and we will continue to recommend them highly when weddings and corporate events here in San Luis Obispo return.

Hello everyone!We attempted to have flora and fauna cater our wedding. But when covid hit we had to cancel. (We work in EMS and we were needed) we put our wedding on hold to be available for our communities.We thought flora and fauna would understand but heidi and Tami threw their contract in our face and refused to give us our deposit back despite cancelling 2 months in advance.I get it. Some people are hard up. But threatening us with lawyers on the first chat? All we wanted was some food or our money back!Just wanted to give fair warning to anyone thinking about using them.They snubbed a nurse and fireman for $1200.

I was just a guest at wedding Flora & Fauna catered and I was blown away by all of the deliciousness. Each dish was a dance perfectly done! Not only did it taste fantastic but the plating was gorgeous as well!
