Had a wonderful time with friends at Awaze! We had the veggie combo and some drinks. The owner was extremely friendly…we shared a few laughs together too. He also play the World Cup game after we requested it. Very accommodating of him. Great atmosphere for relaxing a with friends and the food was delicious 😋 this is my second time here and would come back again!

Awaze was absolutely delicious! My partner is vegan and loves Ethiopian food. After reading the reviews, we had to drive up from Orange County to give it a try. It did not disappoint. We had the sambusa with lentils and the veggie combo special. Every bite was delicious. We will definitely be back!

Wish I had taken a picture, but the food was so good I finished it way too fast. My name is Myles Purnell, and whenever I’m craving authentic Ethiopian food, this is one of my favorite spots to go to. The flavors are always on point — the perfect mix of spices, fresh ingredients, and comfort in every bite.

What really makes this place special is the atmosphere. The owners and workers are always welcoming, kind, and bring such good energy every time I come in. You can genuinely feel the love, culture, and history behind each meal. Great food, great people, and amazing vibes every single time.

My brother and I ate here for the first time today. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful and clean. The staff was warm and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered 2 veggie combos family style to share and we could barely finish it. The portions are sooo generous. It was my brother's first time trying Ethiopian food and he cant wait to go back. We were given ginger water to go with our meal and it complimented it quite nicely. Traditionally, the food is eaten with your hands and we did just that! Thank you Awaze for an amazing lunch!

We hosted a end of tax season celebration for the community and our guests gave the sampler platters rave reviews. Trays of it was quickly emptied.
