Prices are more reasonable compared to other hot chicken spots nearby. I like that you can choose your own spice level. The service was great, and the food was delicious—I really enjoyed my meal.

I was really disappointed with my experience at Dave’s Hot Chicken. The food was overpriced for what you get. I used to remember when the chicken on the sliders hang outside the sandwich. Now it’s a basic chicken sandwich. Also the chicken was dry and very greasy at the same time. The spice level is good that is why I’m giving them a two star on food instead of a one. The wait time was 15 even though the place was not very busy with only me and an another person.The staff seemed rushed which made the experience worse. Overall, it did not live up to the hype, and I would not go back. But I found this chicken spot in Bellflower called Richie‘s hot chicken. I tried their Chicken sandwich, They load you up plus very good spice levels as Dave’s hot chicken. I will just ask for light seasoning because they do sometimes over season their chicken. Plus, they also have great deals for Monday through Thursday. I will post the photos of the deals at the bottom of my review.

I ordered Dave’s Saucy Bites w/fries Mikes Hot Honey and they gave me this!! Nothing close to what was requested. Fries were missing. Whole order was a disaster!

At first the cashier was helpful and attentive, food was you average hot chicken sandwich. Mac and cheese was good too. I got my meal without a fork and when my wife went to get one for me took awhile since no one was manning the front. Cashier was cleaning tables, and 3 female employees were just chit chatting in the B.O.H. took awhile for one to give us a fork.
