Such a cute little mom and pop! The boss lady is so friendly and speaks pretty good English, so this is the perfect gateway to authentic Korean food for anyone who's mostly only tried kBbq in the vast realm of Korean food. The spicy cold noodles were FANTASTIC. Add a little of the mustard provided and it's the most divine dish. I didn't really enjoy their galbi tang as much as I enjoyed their bossam. However, I think it is the perfect introduction for anyone who's not used to authentic Korean food as it is more friendly to the American palate. Tried their chives Korean pancake and the boss lady was able to make it half non spicy and half mixed with jalapeños. But the stand out to me was the complimentary soup. It's peppery, it's umami, and it's the main reason I slobber in my sleep - it's literally the soup of my dreams!

Cam back to try bossam again. I got the bossam plate and it was a lot for me. I could've ate with another person. So flavorful and tasty!!!!

Best nengmyeon I have eaten in my entire life. I live in Texas now, but I grew up in Cerritos and I miss it so much. So many places (even the really good ones in LA, which I still really enjoy) make their broth super sweet. This place does it the traditional way, which is less sweet. Their broth is so nuanced and deep in flavor, yet so clean and crisp. You can really taste that beef. I haven't had it in years and yet I can remember the flavor so clearly still! Can't wait to go back and visit again so I can grab a bowl. Also, their hwaedobap and galbi jjim is great too. And their spicy nengmyeon with Korean style sashimi too. The owner of the place is so sweet! I'm glad to see that this place is still open for business and survived the pandemic.

Decent restaurant but the price was high for me. It used to be better. 회덧밥 (mixed vegetables with fish rice bowl) was very good but again pricey. Wouldn't recommend this one.

One word to describe Gombo: authentic. We got tears in our eyes not because it was spicy or we got sauce in our eyes, but it was because of pure happiness. First of, the service from Judy, Amy, and Charles are on another level. They're so kind and hospitable. The ambiance is small or quaint but the flavors are tremendous. The beef stew is something I've never tasted before, but if I could imagine what Korea tasted, it's probably this. Bossam combo with the pork belly was outstanding. The beef stew itself probably could feed 3 people! We'll be back!

Cute little spot that serves you warm brother rather than tea (a wonderfully pleasant surprise) when you sit down. The cold noodle was delicious on such a hot day and the seafood pancake had the nice crispy edges. Sometimes you order them at places and it's so doughy in the middle - not this place.

So delicious, hot khar bi soup and so many different options to choose from. Highly recommend this place! Feels and taste like home cooked meals in Korea!
