I liked my seasonal peach royale drink. They had a good variety of choices, but the place is a bit small so we couldn’t find any seating.

Hello! I went to the opening of Ondo Coffee and loved it. The Guinness Coffee was amazing and Mr. Brown’s financier… ufff, so delicious! Definitely a spot worth visiting 😋.”

I like the drinks here. 🙂 But sometimes I feel like the drinks taste like the refrigerator.
finally! a coffee shop with great coffee AND great pastries (@outofthinair.la). I’ve quickly become a regular here and rightfully so— their dark roast choco offering is my favorite (especially if you’re into chocolate) and they make their cortados to perfection, every time. I’m so happy to know that there’s a new bakery servicing the area that ISNT Nonna’s bakery bc their croissants are not it. Ondo carries Out of Thin Air’s pastries and they truly know what they’re doing. I opt for a classic butter croissant but have also tried their CCC and it’s great. I wish they carried a cold brew option tbh but they do have a flash brewed ice coffee that I surprisingly really enjoyed (still wish they had cold brew tho). I also stopped by with someone who loves matcha and they completely approved of their ceremonial grade strawberry Matcha latte— said it was not too sweet and perfectly balanced. Ondo beats the rest! Even the coffee shop in the plaza next door lol

Totally not a first timer of Ondo as I've tried their Hojicha from the shop in Hollywood. The Artesia outlet's apparently still relatively new and still on soft-opening but they're going to do the grand opening next week! The venue was much cuter IMO, and it's quite creative bringing that petite tables that could nicely sit on the long bench, saving spaces! Parking situation was also much easier on the Artesia one with dedicated free parking space. Not sure since when, but they now had loyalty punch card, giving $5 off after 10 purchase - WIN WIN!
This visit I went for their top seller Guinness Butterscotch Cream Latte, which everyone seemed to EXTREMELY LOVE. Sipping it for the first time, I was mesmerized by the unique flavor it presented, which was hard to describe in words, but it was indeed SUPER GOOD! It was nothing like others I have tried, even with them carrying butterscotch flavor. Worry not about it being overly sweet or taste like beer; as it's simply just right and the cream also wasn't overpowering at all, neither did it taste like beer. The milk itself was not customizable as everything was premade already and would contain dairy. Needn't say more, give it a try yourself and thank me later.

Walking into Ondo was the closest I'll probably ever get to recreating the millennial child sense of wonder of walking into a Toys R Us to get whatever you wanted.
My brain practically leaked out of my ears seeing the crazy diverse choices of coffee beans to take home. And the processing techniques used for the pour over coffee for consumption on site were just as experimental and cutting edge.
Ondo, your only sin is not finding me sooner.

Great bean selection and cozy sitting area. I frequent the original Ondo location, and although the atmosphere and demographic is definitely different, they still have the same old fantastic iced flash brew coffee. I also got the Peach Royale and the Strawberry Matcha latte (less sweet), and they’re well balanced with the teas taking the forefront of the flavor profile. I wish them the best in this location and hope their great slow bar program gets the attention it deserves.
Not realizing it was their soft opening - I must say the strawberry matcha was delicious and I really liked it! The interior was very modern and cute.
As much as I'd like to give 5 stars, I wasn't very impressed with their service (they had no emotions or a hint on customer service, other than the girl making the drinks - cashier had poor customer service and seemed like she wanted to not be there) and there is a mistake on their menu. First - the menu says you can choose your milk of choice (apart of the matcha's price), but when you ask to change it, they're going to charge you a dollar extra - I asked for clarification also, and they said yeah it's going to be extra. Not being frugal or anything, but just letting you readers know in case that's what hooks your interest to visit. Second - the staff isn't as friendly (maybe it depended on the day I went... but it was soft opening?), but the cashier seemed very sleepy or she was not very enthusiastic to be there. There wasn't really customer service up at the front. I don't often complain about cafes since I like visiting them, but I was just thinking these could be signs of improvement since I don't think I've had a poor cafe service experience before other than at Ondo.
I just saw someone had the same review about the poor customer service and the cashier not knowing anything about the menu - this could be a sign to improve on.

I'm not sure if it's because it's a soft opening or if there's a big difference in coffee preferences, but the taste of the coffee here left me with some questions, despite their apparent effort in quality control.
I ordered an Iced Americano with fruity notes and a Latte with chocolate notes. The fruity flavor in the Americano tasted artificial, which wasn't a good sign. The chocolate latte had a very light body.
It seems like the flavors mostly come from syrups and creams, which makes this feel more like a beverage shop than a true coffee shop. If I were to revisit, the only reason would be to try their signature Guinness Butterscotch Latte.

Came for the soft opening and really loving the menu already! Their standard espresso is excellent and their single origin offering today is really special. Their seasonal Peach Royale is also the best peach milk tea I've ever had! Excited to see what they have in store for their full opening!
