Typical sysco prepared food biscuits and gravy were bland tasted like it came out of a can my nephew ordered a steak breakfast. We had to go to Food 4 Less after as we did not even finish our plates. I think the only thing they made from scratch. There were the cookies they handed out at the counter.

Such a cute place old pictures of Atascadero & Movie Stars very cozy. The food is so good there too I highly recommend this place. It cost 40 bucks for breakfast they give you plenty of food. I have enough leftover for breakfast tomorrow too. The staff is really friendly & they come check on you several times to see if you need more coffee or anything else.Parking: There is plenty of parkingWheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible right in front of the restaurant several handicap spots.

Came here cause we were craving a chicken fried steak. We were greeted right away. After sitting down, We ordered a Bloody Mary with our meal. The Bloody Mary was great and just what we needed after a night out. The chicken fried steak came out hot, crispy with just the right amount of gravy. I also ordered a side of biscuits and gravy. All of it was good and hit the spot. Needless to say we were satisfied with our meal. Will come back when the cravings come back.

First time here, from Orange County. Hands down the Best Chicken Fried Steak and Gravy I've ever had. Server was Awesome also. Will Definitely come back when I'm in the area. Thank You.

Used to be great. Subpar now. I ordered egg white bacon mushroom cheese omelet with swiss and added spinach, homefries, dry english muffin - crispy. I received no swiss, almost untoasted english muffin, homefries not cooked. I've never done a yelp interview, but this was so bad that it warrants one. Salt and pepper shakers were GROSSLY dirty. Must miss. I am a local who will never go back.

The food was good, fast and our server was wonderful! My server recommended the skirt steak with stuffed jalapeño, eggs and hashbrowns special. It was sooo good!

The Cowgirl Cafe in Atascadero is a large restaurant serving a large variety of tasty American food. Our family was there for breakfast and the portions are large and well prepared. Prices are also reasonable and the service is fast and courteous. We will return.

I came in last Saturday for breakfast with my daughter. I had the senior breakfast for $9.95, she had the Denver omelet and an iced tea. The bill was $39.89? Can someone explain that? I did not make a big deal about it at the time, but I just want to know if the Denver omelets at $27.00?

I love the theme of this place, as a sucker for old time saloons and westerns. The tall ceilings and decor really warm the place. Large portions of food and a great chicken fried steak and crispy hash browns every time. A fantastic diner that is never a let down. However I'd like my coffee refills offered a little more often and the tables to be wiped down a little better. I've sat at sticky table tops a few times here but the food and environment is a must try for any western buff with a big cowboy appetite! Friendly staff.I love it here!

The ambiance in the Cowgirl Cafe is easy going. Warmth and at-home is what the restaurant seems to want their guests to feel upon entering and enjoying a good meal. Everywhere one looks, there are photos and historical articles & items, from rustic to modern country - incorporating the past and present country life. The service was a little slow, but cordial and attentive. The restaurant is very clean with table or booth seating options. Pastrami Burger - moist hamburger with tender pastrami on a fresh bun. Really enjoyed this selection. Turkey Avocado Bacon Club Sandwich - good size sandwich with fresh, crisp ingredients. Delicious. We were impressed with our food selections as the portions were generous and flavorful. We would return when in the area.
