Ale’s mexican Grill & cafe

My cousin and I hung out here for a few hours catching up. The food was delicious and we never felt rushed to leave.

Everything was so favorable. Especially loved the carne asada and their salsa. Even the chips were delicious - warm and nicely salted. Ordered a burrito bowl, California burrito, and nachos.

Ale and Nacho are the best. They have the patients and are kind. && the food is delicious❤️

My favorite place to have breakfast on my days off and the burritos are absolutely the best in town! Everything I've tried is awesome and the service is amazing and you won't leave hungry! Nacho has the best energy and makes you feel like part of the family!

Kid-friendliness: Easy access high chairs. They dont mind if toddlers get loud or make a mess. They have a great kids menu. Mexican an American food. The American food doesn't taste frozen!

Great fish tacos, beautiful spicy salsa verde, and the tortilla chips are lightly seasoned. The owner treats you like family and is super attentive. We will definitely be back!

We were passing by from pismo and were looking for Mexican food and we came across Ale’s. Got there about 30 mins from closing and the staff were very attentive and nice. We ordered 4 meals and made us fresh chips which were delicious. I ordered a shrimp/octopus cocktail and it was delicious. I did find 2 pieces of plastic which I presume it was from the shrimp bags. Nonetheless, I continued to eat. The shrimp soup was very yummy. I can’t wait to be back and hopefully an earlier time. Thank you the staff for feeding my family.

I ordered fish tacos with soft shell tortillas. They are about the size of a street taco so I ordered 4 tacos. There were 2 versions of the taco , traditional or the works, I chose the traditional which is cilantro and onions, the tacos come with some sliced limes and radishes . My husband had a california burrito which was a big burrito and he had to save the other half for later. Both items were delicious and we would come back to try the other menu items. The inside of the restaurant was nicely decorated and spaced, luckily since it was a hot day we had the place to ourselves and the service was good.
