My wife & I along with our two friends visited the Auburn Alehouse this Sunday. We just finished a beautiful hike along the American River and everyone was indeed of a cold beer.
The Alehouse is in a beautiful historic building in the hart of Old Aburn. They are dog friendly with a nice outside seating area. There were numerous home brews on tap. We all had several rounds of the Gold County Pillsner. Good beer, cold & refreshing like a Pills should be. Our server was on top of it. She kept the beers coming and had a great attitude. Everyone had an a good experience, and we look forward to our next visit.

We ate dinner and had a beer on our way home from skiing. It was delicious food and a perfect beer pairing. I had the Brewmaster's burger cooked medium (and it was!) My friend had the Rueben sandwich. We both requested extra crisp fries...they were! The beer pairings, Fools Gold Ale with the burger and the Old Town Brown with the Rueben, were spot on. Always a great experience at Auburn Alehouse. We'll be back!

Love this spot. The cheese loaf is life. The food is absolutely delicious and the service is great. They have an amazing drink selection and a couple yummy mocktails also. The beers and cider on tap is awesome. The only complaint is they dont have more seating. It is always super packed no matter when I go. Understandably because its so delicious 😋

What an amazing restaurant! Dog friendly patio. Right in old downtown Auburn. The service was top notch! The food was even better! I had one of the craziest brunch meals I've ever had called the early bird two homemade Belgian waffles very good fried chicken breast sunny side up egg apple butter and ample pieces of thick bacon. It was uniquely amazing. My wife had the pot pie. My son had the fried pickles. We unanimously decided they were the best fried pickles we'd ever had. Great beer & wine selection. Oh and the homemade tater tots were probably the best I've ever had as well!

Great SERVICE from the moment we waked in the door; good job Jake! I wish I could remember everyone’s name to make this review more personal - You all were great. My Friend had the soup of the day while I had the Ale House Burger with extra bacon. If you not from Auburn I would recommend the trip, after you done enjoy the rest of Old Town. And if you live here and haven’t made it down here - What are you waiting for? My rating in exceptional, about the 5 stars.
