Really, really good sandwiches!! I've been traveling to Auburn for work and this place consistently delivers amazing sandwiches. I'm on my way to trying everything on the menu. The half sandwiches are on the small side. Wish there was a full sandwich, soup, drink combo! If you're going with a group, I'd say to get full size sandwiches and swap with someone. Can't go wrong with any of the choices.

I go to Max's almost every week. I first wanted to go thru the menu and try everything. I haven't finished the menu solely because I keep going back for more. I have 3 more sandwiches to try before moving to the soups and salads. They never disappoint. I usually order online due to a short lunch, however, some mornings I forget to place my order. They are so efficient, the wait time isn't long.

I work a few minutes away from Max's and try to go there at least once a month (I'm a brown bagger most the time!) to support our local businesses. Max struggled through the COVID era and came out shining on the other side. Love this place, love his crew! Stop in and order something, you will not be disappointed. I recommend the brisket Banh Mi. My go to sammich!

First time here. Excellent service, super friendly staff. I got the #50 brisket banh mi made with brisket pastrami. Let's just say that pastrami brisket was delicious. One of the best I've had. Great job. I also got the Thai lemon grass soup. Super tasty and full of flavor. I enjoy finding great local places where the food is delicious and you can't get it anywhere else. I will definitely be back. ( the staff said I would be when I told it was my first time here. Lol)
