Family of four at lunch. Our waitress was very good and the food was good with the exception of the Chinese chicken salad which was nothing to shout about. It's a good place to stop when traveling in the Aiburn area to meet up with family.
I believe Josh was our server and he was awesome. He went the extra mile and made the whole experience. A lot of fun. I recently moved here so I have a new favorite place. Thank you Max's and thank you, Josh.!! -Jenna
We love Max's from SanFran. The food is very consistent, but the service has been questionalbe for the past 10 years of stopping in Auburn from Reno. Seems like they only cater to locals and don't care about travelers. Example: We were seated today. Cashier cleared and wiped table but did not set the table, give menus or even ask about drinks. Took another 15 minutes for our server to appear, and she only brought napkins. Took another 10 minutes to get menus and...
