I went there on Christmas eve just before they were about to close. There were a couple of young women there and their service was incredible. Even though it was near to closing time, they treated us exceptionally. While most people would want to go home early on Christmas eve, they made sure our food was fresh and they checked on us multiple times. It felt more like sit down dining than a fast food restaurant. For someone who was traveling though, i was more than a quick meal. They certainly went above and beyond.
Way to go Panda and way to go to the young ladies they had working that night. Much appreciated from some weary travelers.

I would give 0 stars if I could. As someone who's worked in the service industry for 4 years I am truly appalled by the behavior of the employees who were working the closing shift on this Christmas Eve. As my partner and I were walking up to the restaurant (in the pouring rain mind you) they locked the doors just moments before we tried to enter. And yes, they were still serving two customers inside at the time we walked up. What was truly appalling is the way they ignored our presence as if they hadn't just locked the doors in our faces to leave us in the pouring rain on Christmas Eve. We parked our car at 8:25, and took a few minutes to get our rain coats on, and they must have seen us get out of the car and decided that they should lock the doors before we could enter the restaurant. As someone who has worked a few closing shifts on Christmas Eve, I understand wanting to go home early and not having to serve any more customers than absolutely necessary. But the fact that there was no one else there besides my partner and I, combined with the fact that we were walking up to the restaurant as they locked the doors, made this a truly disgusting experience. Merry Christmas, I guess.

Katy at this Panda Express was extremely rude! Worst experience I’ve ever had at this establishment!
Auburn Ca. Panda on Highway 49.
Portions are getting smaller and smaller. The server still got our order wrong after we told them it was wrong. They thought it was funny after I mentioned how small the portion was. We'll be going down the street for better food and service where we won't feel ripped off.
Nice, clean restaurant. Friendly staff. Decent food.

we stopped eating out to save $ & our health about 2 years ago. When we do, we have only a very few restaurants we choose, narrowed even further by specific locations (I.e. Panda Auburn, CA, NEVER Natomas, CA).
This Auburn, CA Panda remains consistent on higher quality, quick service, very rare (if ever) errors, and the nicest staff.
Today, I arrived to pickup an online order. There's a handful of people in line. An 18-20ish male, ARKAR (Spell?) at the register. A man who wasn't filthy, but obviously a transient approached him just ahead of me. He made a very polite request, which ARKAR would've been within reason if he declined the mans request (the man wasn't a paying customer). ARKAR politely explained the store policy. The man responded with a bit more desperation, "please?" followed by a few more details, which ARKAR never skipped a bit. He smiled, softened his body language, and whispered to the man, "ok. don't worry. I can this time." He spoke TO the man, keeping eye contact the entire time (a sign of respect). The man walked away with his dignity & appeared to be standing a bit taller than he walked in. :) ARKAR, congratulations to those responsible for raising you. Don't lose your humanity, heart & stay humble. You're THE example so desperately needed in this world. Thank you for CHOOSING to be this type of human. <3 May the Good Lord bless all you strive for.

The teriyaki chicken was good but next time I'd ask them to cut the pieces into smaller ones for my senior neighbor who can't chew those big pieces. The honey walnut shrimp was a little soggy and flavorless and I would not get that again. But I'm willing to try other menu items. Wish they had plastic knives for the food. They only offer plastic forks.

Ordered online and got a discount. Thank you. Purchased 2, 2 entree dinners with half rice/chow mein. Was only given one set of cutlery and one fortune cookie. Tasty food. Order online if you haven't tried it already and they send you an instant coupon.
