Wanted to try a new sushi place in Auburn and found this place on google with good reviews. We were there at 2:30pm so place wasn’t packed. Greeted and seated quickly. Quick turnaround on ordering and getting our food. Was shocked at how big their sushi rolls were and thank goodness we only ordered the one. The lunch meal deal came with plenty of food to fill ya too. Food was yummy for our tummy, found a new favorite spot.
This is such a hidden gem! Everything we had was so beautiful made and plated. I highly recommend the spicy octopus salad, the melting albacore was perfect, and the nigiri was some of the best I've ever tried. You can tell them at the hef has great attention to detail and cares about what he puts out.
This place is great for vegans, with a veggie roll section (most things veganizable by removing mayo), several vegan salads, tempura, and more. I once asked them for "ten different vegan rolls - you choose" for an event and they delivered with limited notice. Amazing! Very nice and helpful people with tasty food.
Some vegan options are off menu, too... Worth asking if there's something you want but don't see listed. They have inari, several pickled veggies,...
