The food and staff day of the event were excellent. The booking and planning staff for the event had communication issues and contributed to making this far more stressful on our part than it should be.

This is kind of Auburn's secret hideaway. It's a golf course and most people would not think that it's a open to the public restaurant and bar. I went in there and met the bartender / waitress named Shannon. What a really nice lady. Great spirit great attitude and she was all over managing the bar and she had some tables in the restaurant as well. It's a nice venue and overlooks the golf course. I sat at the bar and had a drink at lunch time and ordered food and sat there and had Shannon serve me. The food came out fast and was really good and plentiful. I was pretty damn surprised for a golf course. But the management needs to do is the place is sign down at the road saying that the golf course is open to the public as well as the bar and restaurant. I'm sure they could generate way more revenue and customers if they had a sign out there advising people going up that it's a public facility. Again a nice environment and Shannon did a great job and the food was great.

My Tuesday men's group, mostly seniors, played The Ridge yesterday and had a good round. It would have been a great round; however, it's still soggy from the December rains, like all local courses. The cart path only conditions slowed play to about a 5 hour round which is understandable. The course was in very good shape for the damp conditions. The green's were very fast which made things interesting, but fun. a few of our uphill putts went past the hole, stopped, then roll back toward or past the hole.

The restaurant has very little in the way of atmosphere. It’s just a large, empty room. The food was good, not great. It’s an average dining value.
We were there for lunch. The waitress who served us was kind and attentive. There is a nice view from the sparse dining area.

My family had a wedding here and it was just beautiful. The whole ambiance was amazing. Granted, I didn’t pay for anything, so I cannot speak to the cost, I would assume it was not cheap. But if you’re looking to play golf or have a wedding here, you won’t be disappointed.

Fantastic and friendly customer service, stopped here for a quick lunch. They had a huge private event going on, thought I would have to leave.The hostess Jill, greeted my cheerfully and invited me to another area then she and Shane, took care of me the whole time. The atmosphere was welcoming and had a great view, the food was excellent, the only improvement one could ask for is to offer some of the fine mountain wines from the gold country.Great job Ridge team!
